The next Presidential election will be won - fraud notwithstanding - by turnout.
AOC will turn out disillusioned young people, many of who voted for Trump in this previous election only to watch all of his talk turn into another middle eastern war, higher inflation, higher unemployment, more spending and his concern being as much about new ballrooms and chasing grudges than the very real problems in this country.
If the GOP is stupid enough to run an established neo-con like Rubio - which I suspect is likely - then you will see a large portion of the "MAGA" base stay home. AOC voters will show up.

You should not underestimate the enthusiasm stupid people have to vote for people just like them.
You never give people like AOC and Mamdani and Ilhan Omar an inch. Not one inch.
Because you don’t want them to even have the slightest shot at the highest office in the land. AOC gets stronger as a political adversary every day. Recognizing that doesn’t make you weak or undedicated to the GOP side. You have to understand what you’re up against to fight it.

She wont do well in primaries. That far left message doesn't track with mid-america democrats. You can see it in the last few primary seasons. The more moderate democrat candidates did the best, except in the northeast and California.
She would likely win some delegates, but she is not a serious contender for the presidency, unless the DNC just decides to install her despite the primary results, as they are known to do.

You don't think that she will pull in suburban women swing votes in purple states? I surely do, especially as she moderates her tone.
Now will she be able to win over the unions, I'm really not sure but would guess she has an uphill battle.
The 2028 map will likely come down to Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Arizona, and Nevada. I can see her playing well in NV, AZ, and WI. Means 2028 will likely come down to Michigan and PA. Of those, PA alone is enough to push either candidate over the edge. Presler better be camped out there for the next 2 years.
