Democrats are simply throwing idiotic statements out there to see what sticks. Communists do that.

Me looking for the part of the constitution where it says we don’t have the right to double digit profit on investments.

The better comment was around city owned grocery stores.... basically

"If small grocers are put out of business by one city owned grocery store then maybe they shouldn't have been in the business anyways"

What is he talking about?

There's nothing worse than an idiot that thinks he's intelligent.

Meh. Exhibit A why that kind of thinking won’t be widely accepted.

I can’t claim knowledge of this person’s intelligence. But that statement at minimum exhibits a bit of misguided ignorance in my opinion.

These retards don’t realize the investors and risk takers are the only reason they can fund their massive giveaway projects. These reporters need to highlight their hypocrisy.

I'm convinced that some, not all, of these leftists have their heads up their asses. Some of my in-laws fit the affluent leftist bill. And after years of picking and prying I have come to the conclusion that they are delusional. At what point is it willful ignorance? That's the question.

My BIL a few months ago denied there was any fraud in Minnesota. He wanted me to prove that it existed. I was taking the where there's smoke there's fire approach. He wasn't having it, and didn't see a reason to investigate. I told him, "Joe, you own and run an 8-figure company. If one of your employees came to you and said they suspect someone is embezzling money, would you dismiss the allegation or investigate it?" He admitted that if the allegations warranted it, that it would be prudent to investigate. "So you only have your head up your arse when it comes to politics, and not business too?"

Just now saw this thread, and I think to myself "self, how did this of all topics manage to get to five pages?"

Then I saw who responded on the first page.

WTF does he mean about a constitutional right to double digit returns.

I can see it now: Article 26, subpoint 3: "And henceforth no citizen shall now nor ever receive the benefits of an investment return that exceeds 9.2% with the exception of the most honored members of the current or past legislative bodies."

Lots of people are confused as to what's being discussed in OP

As of this morning, they're still confused

Looking like idiots and responding how they did is what the DSA trolls want. It marginalizes the opposition (Because who wants to associate with people who look like retards?)

My real estate broker said that 4 to 5% was the general expectation for investment properties.

The irony of these deluded communists is that the people their polices will hurt the most will be those living in low-rent apartment buildings that are marginal as it is. Adding more costs won't make anything more affordable, but like in the 70's will lead abandonment or worse.

That cartoon is patently false.

In Step 2, all the communists/socialists are rich. It's just everyone else that is poor.

Socialism is never for the socialists.

You have to understand the framing of this discussion, which involves the New York City Rent Guidelines Board. They are not discussing a free market and it's specifically about government regulation.

This is some of that nuanced stuff the long hairs talk about, ain't it? Way over my bullet proof Chevy 350 head, that's for sure.
