It will start with the top 0.0002% and eventually trickle down to the top 20%. Watch.

Remember the income tax was initially 1% and 3% on high income earners.

Yep. Once the concept is approved, the thresholds will move down every time funds are needed by the fed gov which is always.

Do we really want to tax SJW billionaires to pay for SJW government? The SJW government will never get trillions in taxes from billionaires. As is always the case, the middle class will be stuck with the bill eventually.

Did you know that these people gain more per dollar spent on taxes than you do? Why should their benefit be greater than yours?

Because they own the DEMs and RINOs.

This is simply a ruse to go after the middle class. The people on that list will always be taken care of. If you believe anything otherwise, then you are a dumb SOB.

This is the typical lying, cheating democrat bait and switch. When you have a team of accountants, you don’t pay taxes.

It will fall to the middle class.

Yeah.

Got it.

Yeah.

Just remember how the 16th Amendment was sold to the dupes.

So what happens when they stop bringing their companies public? Also if the company is big enough one could argue that I would have to sell off some stock to pay the tax bill this comes with, every year. Why would someone grow a company they can't own because they are getting a massive tax bill every month. Just because a company is worth a certain amount from a market perspective doesn't mean it is making a profit.

Maybe they should target elected officials as well.

It’s pretty sick and evil for the government to target a small group of people by name to tax the shite out of them

This should disturb every single American regardless of your wealth status

That's not income. Therefore it's not income tax.

Who can oppose a "wealth tax" on the top 0.0002%, that is, until later it's amended to tax the top 10% and later the top 50%. They just want to get the camel's nose into the tent.

No they didn’t. If they wanted to pay higher taxes, they can always cut the check for as much extra as they want to pay.

In my past I would normally be dead set against this as a matter of principle. But most of the people on this list are SJWs who asked for this.

So, if that's the way they want it, that's the way they should get it.

Remember that the federal income tax started at 1% and now look at where it is. I am going to oppose this because the government can’t stop at just billionaires.

That's why I said this would affect people downstream from the intended targets 100x more than the intended targets

Any concept of how many billionaires you would have to tax at 100% of their wealth to cover our almost $30 trillion of debt?
