has to include LBJ at or near the top.

I have

LBJ

BHO

Wilson

FDR

Clinton

Carter

I still have Lincoln as one of my top POTUS. Had he not been assassinated, he would be second only to Washington.

Historically Grant has to be high. GWB was pretty lame, since he sold out republican priciples.LBJ for a multitude of reasons.

I feel like Washington is in everyone's top 5 simply because he was the first and led the Revolutionary War, which was great and all, but I just don't believe he deserves to be top 5. What did he do as president?

4. Clinton (don't kid yourselves, from an economic standpoint he was good)

The only good that Clinton did was get a GOP congress elected which pushed him into every 'good' thing that happened. Remember, even his signing the welfare reform act, he promised to 'undo' it as soon as he could get a DEM congress. Then when it showed success, he claimed credit for it.

Nope - he was a lousy president - set in motion the modern excesses of GRAFT and CORRUPTION that Obama honed into a blunt instrument.

Set the example of integrity and patriotism. None since have lived up to it, but most have tried - up until Obama completely shite on the very idea of integrity.

Even the worst presidents have a baseline of "0", with one exception. Obama did more to intentionally cripple the country than any other. I rate him at -5.

I can't disagree with that.

Pretty good list but Carter goes to the top of mine. Completely out of touch and inept. Interest rates and inflation over 18%.

Most will not remember but it was common to finance a home at 11% to 14% interest rate thanks to Jimmy Carter and his idiotic policies. Hard to imagine that was going on on in the late 70s but it was.

The only thing he did well was lay the groundwork for a Reagan landslide election.

Wow, that’s a lot of shite to sort through!

1) Adams: The Alien and Sedition Acts
2) Jackson: 2nd Bank of the United States, Trail of Tears
3) Lincoln: killed 600,000+ Americans
4) Grant: Ineptitude allowing wholesale corruption
5) Wilson:Income Tax, Federal Reserve, and crappy peace treaty
6) FDR: prolonging the Depression with the New Deal, trashed the traditional two term limit
7) LBJ: the unending and un-winnable War on Poverty, micromanaging Vietnam into un-winnable quagmire
8) Nixon: Wage and Price Freeze, signed Title IX into law, endorsed an equal rights amendment, tried to implement universal healthcare, tried to implement a guaranteed income, and Watergate
9) Carter: complete ineptitude with the lone exception of 3 Mile Island
10) Clinton: universal health care attempt, FBI files in White House, refused to take Osama bin Laden, coffees and renting Lincoln Bedroom, Buddhist monks, Travelgate, Pardongate, Waco, Clinton Crime Family Foundation, Bimbo Eruptions-the original #metoo, perjury and impeachment in Paula Jones trial, and Community Reinvestment Act that created environment for Housing Bubble and “Predatory Loans”
11) W: allowing the Congressional Black Caucus and Barney Franks to create the Housing Bubble disaster with the continuation and eventual collapse of Fannie and Freddie
12) Obama: Obamacare, Iran and North Korea nukes, weaponization of IRS, DOJ, ATF, FBI, CIA, FISA, NSA

#1 Obama
#2 Lincoln
#3 Clinton
#4 Nixon
#5 Wilson
Honorable mention: Jackson

Hmmmm: 2 Republicans, 3 Democrats, and a Democrat/Republican, fair and balanced?

1. FDR- Marxist/socialist policies got their foot in the door with him.

2. Obama- Marxism/Keynesian policy on steroids, and he hates this country, and it showed.

3. Lincoln- Not for the Civil War, but for the fact that his presidency birthed the federal government power we see now.

4. Carter- Incompetent in every way, on every level.

5. Clinton- The most morally corrupt slimeball we've ever elected. Pissed away all the strength that 8 years of Reagan and 4 years of Bush 1 brought.

Lincoln- making secession illegal and declaring war instead of buying the slaves back

Wilson- The list goes on and on with this guy

Teddy Roosevelt- One of the most interesting men I have ever read about but it was his insane interpretation of the 10th amendment that led to disaster

LBJ- War on poverty so the police can bother me

Obama- His dirty deeds aren't all the way out yet. When that happens he'll start moving up the list

John Tyler, born in 1790, is the President that still has living grandchildren.

You could also add him to the 5 worst list discussion.
