This statement has now turned out to be 1000x100 % right

Why Jack Smith had the judge dismiss the documents case and what issues in that case he wanted to avoid

... posted from a previous thread ...

... no,

He avoided the ramifications of what was IN those documents ...

remember some if those docs were sniffed out when the Durham DOJ bloodhounds jumped the fence to the Pentagon side and retrieved some stuff ...

those pesky bloodhounds

... yep, those pesky bloodhounds ...

No simpleton, I’m pointing out that people like you sky screamed that “no one was above the law” for 8 years when it came to Trump and his family but now are downplaying the Biden’s putting themselves above the law. You and your party have no standards and are hypocrites to the core. Just admit you are ok with being lied to by your political and media leaders because it’s your side doing it.

Not filing or paying his taxes? What could you hope to find out? " sir, I was so frickex up at the time, that I did not care and anyway I had no money because I spent it all on crack and other assorted drugs."

He was pardoned for a lot more than that. Pretending it’s only the tax case is a joke.

Why would they need pardons if they aren’t guilty of anything. I think we know the answer to that question

Why? Prosecutors have immunity for crimes they commit while on the job. It is one of the biggest problems in the justice system and something that needs to be looked at.

You must have me confused with someone else. I turned on Trump in the documents case because he acted stupidly and tried to take down his attorneys who were trying to help him. It gave me insight as to what he was all about.

It's not whataboutism to point out how timing or selective prosecution can influence outcomes.

A few years ago people started believing that any time their hypocrisy is pointed out all they have to do is repeat "whataboutism" over and over. I can only assume it went out as some sort of organized talking point and grew from there.

The issue for me is I'm not being hypocritical

I did not excuse the 2020 riots and called them violent riots in real time (with no diversion since)

Yet you felt compelled to respond.

I have no idea why you like to treat lawfare like it's a myth. I also have no idea if you actually believe that or just like being argumentative. I do know the angle you always play here on the issue is asinine.

"It's common and perfectly normal for an exiting president to issue blanket pardons for all same party affiliated criminals that they're associated with".

Why do you need pardons if you did nothing illegal?

I have not read all of the responses in all of the various pardon threads, but the ONLY reason THIS pardon happened was because that pesky judge sniffed out the deal Hunter was getting in his court case. He was getting a full pardon then outside of the small fine for the gun and tax stuff. That's what ruined that court deal was the fact that they were going to give him a full pardon then. Biden, once that will sniffed out and publicized, knew he was going to have to pardon Hunter.

The Democrats need to STHU as they have no basis asking for anything given what this POS of a POTUS just pulled...

SFP takes the opposite stance of this board almost 90% of the time.

If this board celebrated Trump coming out in support of libertarian causes, SFP would magically drop the libertarian facade he has oh so carefully cultivated over the last 20 years and oppose it.

He does it for clicks and comments.

He is the “check out these top 10…you’ll never believe number 4” equivalent of a poster.

Gets people to pay attention to him.

Post count goes brrrrr…

It makes it even better that he is probably the most smug and condescending poster on here. He picked up that attitude when he was having round table discussions at the age of 3 (his story, I didn’t make it up).

I’m confused, they haven’t been publicly implicated in any specific crime, why would they need to be pardoned?

I think if this were to happen, it would be framed as a blanket protection for Democrats since "we all know" Trump is going to prosecute his political enemies.

By offering blanket protection for such a huge group, he would help the guilty ones hide in plain sight and the pardon would not carry the implication that the person being pardoned is guilty of anything, since literally everyone would be getting a blanket pardon.

I don't know if there is any way to stop him from doing it, but it would be a terrible PR move if he did

The people who run into threads and mention him before he posts are the ones who feed him and then the thread becomes mostly about him.

I never wonder to myself or especially out loud about what his take on anything is.
