Perhaps, but that's not what I have said on the matter, and anything associated with that line of commentary is directly related with the matter of defining the concept, which is the primary goal. If you can't properly give a universal, specific operative definition, then it's nothing more than a moving target you change to fit whatever situation you're discussing.

This is not some binary scenario, King NPC. It's not a complete nothing burger or the worst thing that's ever happened. There's a lot of room between those 2 polar NPC talking points.
I am vouching for the veracity of this post - I don't live by chasing SFP posts and rarely get in squabbles with him primarily wrt grammatical issues.
We all need to remember there is a huge swath of reality that lives between the two extremes of either political viewpoint.
"J6" was not a 'insurrection' - it was a large political protest about a valid point.
There were some 'crimes' committed during the J6 protest - just like in most large protests.
The fact that the J6 'law breakers' were treated more harshly than the typical "George Floyd" 'law breaker' is a solid observation and THAT should be the point of any discussion rather than any argument over 'insurrection'
The politicians and media whores who carry the water for "insurrection" charges need to be dealt with appropriately - politicians voted out of office or sanctioned, and media whores fired.
Discussions about the 'j6' INCIDENT needs to be moved to a "was the 2020 election secure from fraud" topic.
In any event - the J6 PROTEST was totally VALID - any CRIMES committed were NOT ok.
