Teedy wasn’t incompetent; she was corrupt. She knew exactly what she was doing at all times.

Ranger, you clearly know very little about Moreno. She’s vary sharp…

She’s a country club liberal but she does seem to care about New Orleans and is willing to fight for it. The voters deserve that.
Latoya was only interested in what she could get. She had zero interest in doing anything for anyone else.

Yeah, who needs oil & gas and agriculture. Why grow corn and rice when you can just buy it at the store, amiright?
Are you sure you wouldn't be more comfortable posting on some fetal alcohol syndrome community board?

The last Republican Mayor was Benjamin Flanders 1870 - 1872. It’s been downhill since.

All I know is what I see. Look at the position the city now finds itself in. And the pain is only just beginning. The clown indictment of the AG was not the work of “very sharp” people.

What was the logic behind going after the AG?
Posted on 7/11/26 at 10:17 am to RadRob
The solution is simple.
No city money to woke NGO projects. Stick to the basics, police, jails, fix streets, water and sewer. That’s it.

You #2 on the NOLA secession movement?
Go go go! Blow the bridges!

Pre Katrina Nagin was decent.
Hell, I’d probably take Post Katrina Nagin over everyone who’s come after him.

Louisiana needs New Orleans and New Orleans needs Louisiana. Stop the squabbling. New Orleans listen to Jim Croce. You don't pull on Superman's Cape, you don't spit in the wind and you don't mess around trying to indict the state AG or piss off the governor. Dumb. You may may not have his politics but he can surely help you if you show a little respect.
Governor I think you have shown good restraint dealing with New Orleans. It can get better. Keep demanding fiscal responsibility and sticking to real public service deliverables. No sanctuary city BS, no woke crap just pave the streets, enforce the laws, lock up the bad guys and fix the SWB. It's just that simple..

You mean the last hundred years. And for the last many years the current mayor was on the council and was heavily involved in all these ridiculous budgets and expenses that brought nothing to the taxpayer

It's too bad she didn't have this collaborative desire before she and the city council tried to assert primacy over the state.
Often forgotten that she was on the city council for years while the mismanagement/corruption of money was flowing like wine

I agree on its face. But lies by omission don’t help as someone else already mentioned. The chance for Nola to get a loan is zero without the state helping so yes it would be coming to the state for money.
She did come off civil and looking to make it right. But that’s probably because she knows she screwed up.

100%. What’s funny or infuriating is he was the LEAST corrupt mayor in my lifetime and he was the only one who ended up in jail.

At least Mitch got a good press tour from his tenure
