She is a million times more competent than Destroyah

She use to have 2 very nice points as 2-3 decades ago, and her tongue still seems as talented. That being said those atm’ on Bourbon Street as well as Harrah’s dole out money whether yours or the credit on those cards so Helena is still able to get those designers clothes & shoes, well at least till she can’t

Maybe she should have thought things through before she hatched a plan to indict the state’s AG on a bunch of trumped up charges. The pain for the city of New Orleans is only beginning.

She plucks and shaves the underside of one eyebrow into a higher arch because she thinks it’s a dramatic, editorial look. That’s the mark of a crazy.

I commend her for trying to work on solutions and be fiscally responsible...something the City has not had in a long time. She articulates her message well, which is the opposite of the Destroya,,,and nice to look at.

She does have a point.
It’s a moot point.
Going after the AG was a dumb move.

Sure she’s nicer to look at. Talk about a low bar. But as bad as Latoya was, it would have never occurred to her to engage in blatant lawfare by indicting the state’s AG. Helena’s problem is that she isn’t nearly as smart as she thinks she is. And she’s used to her pretty face to clear the way for her all her life. That shite ain’t gonna work for her in the position she now occupies.

She seemed to take offense when none was intended. Landry’s post, to which she objected, pointed out that NOLA typically treated the state as an ATM, but it went on to commend NOLA for now taking a better approach.
There was no offense in that to the current NOLA government - just to past ones.
Also, it is very refreshing to see someone as mayor who is sharp and admirable in person.

There seems to something wrong with the New Orleans mayor's throne.
When someone sits on it their IQ drops about 50%.
No wonder the city's population has fallen about 50%.
Who was the last good mayor?

It's adorable how N.O. acts as if its current problems resulted from some impossible random challenge they had no possible answer for.
It's called having a potato-headed failure in charge for 8 years who created her own customized accounting system.

She is a dummy. Who do you think guarantees the bonds will be paid back. New Orleans? Hell no their credit rating is in the toilet. It's us - the taxpayers of the State of Louisiana. Basically Louisiana is a cosigner. So why does she pick a fight with Landry when she needs Landry. Dumbass.

You do realize that without NOLA, Louisiana would be a mere truck stop on the way from Texas to the Florida beaches.....and not even a Pilot / Flying J level

Who was voted in twice and beat a recall by the voters of NO.
Perhaps its not the politicians but the demographics of NO that is the problem there.
The politicians just take advantage of situations.
NO really need leaders who will address problems that exist while not creating new ones.

That's an insanely low bar.
It's too bad she didn't have this collaborative desire before she and the city council tried to assert primacy over the state.

I hope this is sarcasm. No one from Texas is going through NOLA on their way to the beaches. They are all stuck in traffic trying to get across the new bridge in Baton Rouge and make it through the tunnel in Mobile.
