Don't know your politics but I think you are right, EA, albeit not in the way that an open Border Leftist (I.e., *Democratic Authoritarian*) would hope for. With Leftist Judges subverting the 'Spirit' of the Constitutional Republic and enabling rigged elections, many on the Right (Constitutional Republic/God-given INALIENABLE RIGHTS citizens) believe that stopping the "fundamental transformation" within a corrupt Judicial System is no longer a viable strategy. Something will give.
I've long said that the best the armed civil authority can do is to get between opposing groups of haves/have nots and react with whatever force necessary to maintain basic life needs infrastructure. If either side attacks this peace keeping force, they will be hit back, for the common good. Katrina was an example of a likely scenario.
We are moving in that direction, kinda like the 'boiling a frog' narrative. And both sides think they are ready for it. About a month in everybody will regret any such inclinations though this is SOP for humanity.

Good post. Agree with much you'd articulated.
It hurts my heart and the heart of many of us who love our country. But sadly I believe what we're seeing is a goobermint NOT governing by the People and for the People; They are trying to rule us.
RC, look up 'Agenda 2030', the global agenda for total control and reset of all national borders and sovereignty (it used to be Agenda21).
They desperately need America to go down, be divided & conquered and splintered. All this standing down we've witnessed since 2017 by Law Enforcement helps the "Order out of Chaos", doesn't it?
And since 2020, "State" and "National" Emergencies have been declared at the drop of a hat. Why suddenly is it routine SOP?
Our nation, our world need courage and bold leadership to stop the int'l NWO agenda nonsense that's infecting our system. But is it too late?

In one sense, yes. That is the intended way we expect it's used.
But also in another sense, it's morphed to green-light over-officious, power-intoxicated authorities to restrict and throttle free movement while locking-down persons, places and things (In the name of an "Emergency Powers".)
Again, we all witnessed this abuse back in 2020-2021.
