The FLOTUS tea part is on inauguration day. This meeting was not offered to Trump from Obama. Nor Trump to Biden. Historically there have been Presidents that did not speak to one another and skip the inauguration even.
This was a pre transition invite. Melania will be there I would bet on inauguration day and have tea with Jill as protocol while Biden and Trump meet again.

The real question that should be asked is why the Bidens are having tea with deplorable, garbage, racist, facist, Hitler? Why the sudden change?

In case there is a future investigation of the Biden Crime Syndicate, it is best Melania has no association whatsoever with any of them. The American people do not care how the Trump's treat them as long as the Biden's are gone for good.
