I don’t know what happened to him. But I grew up in the 90’s and would watch sportscenter every morning every single day. He was one of my favorite anchors.
It’s truly sad what has become of him. He should have just stuck to sports.

That's the stunning part. Guy was actually likable and had funny moments when he was on Sportscenter in the 90s. Granted, it's a scripted show, but he was popular among sports fans when he was working with Dan Patrick.

I get what Matt is saying and I am tempted to feel that way too, but ever since what happened to Charlie last week, I just sigh and feel sadness for people like Obermann now. I think it just takes a little out of you every time when you feel hate, so I just don't want to hate him or anyone on the Left anymore.
For me, maybe that's Charlie lasting legacy.
