$109M is closer to 5% of the Federal funds that Louisiana usually receives.
It is only 1.5% of the 7 billion that 4cunties is crying about.

Can you clarify what you meant when you said

Sandra bland was murdered by police in her jail cell

Teaching kids how to work in a kitchen isn’t teaching them how to cook and do cooking related things

according to an estimate by the Learning Policy Institute,
As I suspected, this outfit is riddled with CRT and I bet they’re the group that is set to do the training. Below is a planning document on how to address “inequity”. They even reference the 1619 Project in their “resources”.
There was a similar group that infiltrated our district and all hell broke loose when the parents found out.
Funny how GovCo provides the grants for outside firms to come in and “train” …
Equity, inclusion, equity, inclusion

The hard part for me was understanding how the current usage of funds that haven’t been dispersed could be reviewed.
Weird that you offered to explain yourself if I proved you wrong and then… didn’t.

He cannot veto a line item.
He can't just say, I don't want to fund education but let's fund everything else. He can either sign the bill or veto the entire bill.

This funding was not in the latest omnibus bill. It was signed before the dispersement date of July 1.

Unfathomably so.

This thread is a joke. 4cubbies has had everything sufficiently explained, but she has just decided to continue to throw out the same questions, with tiny variations, to keep an argument going.
I’m not playing that shite.

President Trump already approved this funding when he signed it into federal law. What oversight was missing? Do you know how federal grants work?
I work at a university. I know how grants work.. kinda.

This is how federal grants always work.
The funding that hasn’t been dispersed needs be audited first.
The programming that hasn’t started yet needs to be audited first.

I get the feeling she’s a true believer and it’s tough to have your religion questioned. It really only takes a couple of peels of the onion to totally dismantle progressive talking points.
Especially when the concerned organization in the OP references the 1619 Project as a resource per my link above.
We better hope they’re reviewing these grants for training.

Specifically what is inaccurate about what I posted?

an OMB spokesperson said some schools had improperly used the grant money to support undocumented immigrants or offer LGBTQ-related courses.

Are you suggesting the funds were dispersed in accordance with federal law and all the people and agencies quoted are lying?

You're not too bright, eh? No one said the money's being cut. Also NOLA.com is basically MSNBC.
