Not that these numbers mean much from a national perspective, but Louisiana Republicans have early voted at the highest rate by far in first three days (although Other Parties that vote ~80-90% for Republican candidates in recent statewide and presidential elections have early voted at a lower rate).
Registered
1,133,877 Democrats (37.55%)
1,044,564 Republicans (34.60%)
840,874 Other Parties (27.85%)
3,019,315 Total
Voted in first 3 days
134,787 Democrats (38.42% of early voters; 11.89% of registered Democrats)
157,977 Republicans (45.03% of early voters; 15.12% of registered Republicans)
58,029 Other Parties (16.55% of early voters; 6.90% of registered Other Parties)
350,793 Total (11.62% of registered voters)

Wife and I voted yesterday for Trump. We are two of those considered “other party”. We are registered independents. Q

I’m proud to skew this #. I changed my affiliation to Democrat a few years back thinking it may reduce my chances of IRS audit.
However, I will not, and have never voted for a democrat candidate or policy.

Just got home from voting. Line was only 5 minutes. My shift ended at 1 and I went straight there. I think early afternoon, between the lunch and late afternoon rush, is the sweet spot for a short wait.
4 years ago there were 3 big buses there and all of them had the same “souls to the polls” shirts. No buses sighted this time.

I’m being audited this year for the first time. They’re trying to squeeze every penny out of my measly 30k salary. Still waiting on my tax refund. I need to change to D, or I at the very least.

The lines were long at the archives building yesterday when I voted. Have always been "no party" but vote strictly Republican.

I am a registered D but have always voted R. I did this thinking I could primary vote for who I wanted us to run against and have never changed it. Plus I get spam text from D campaigns and I can screw with them.

I just left the Youngsville Library and the line was nearly around the building. The volunteers said they have never seen so many people show up for early voting.

I actually did the exact same thing with the same rationale.

These numbers are crazy. There's 4.6 million people that live in Louisiana. So 65% of the entire state population has early voted?
Nvrmnd. I read incorrectly. My bad

I’d wager a fair chunk of those Democrat votes were for Trump. This state is full of conservative Baby Boomers and early Gen Xers who registered as D when they turned 18 because they’re great grandparents, grandparents, and parents were Democrats and that’s just what you were supposed to do.
Unfortunately that same thought process is why we have a JBE fall through the cracks every now and then and win elections. They’re always on the lookout for that “old school democrat like pawpaw was.”

I filed for 25 years without issue.
In 2012, I bought a t shirt from Mitt Romney.
In 2013, I got a letter.

I don’t know if we have any new up and coming Democrats that could fit that profile. Most “male Democrats” now are probably going to be some blue haired limp wristed freak of nature that is half way transitioning into a woman or a down with the struggle African American looking to get on the government gravy train.
