I have never, NEVER, heard of someone getting that much from the VA. The most I believe can be collected is $4400 and thats 100%, married with the max amount of dependants.

I could be wrong but that doesnt seem correct.

If you ook at the photo with a majority above water it looks as though the the super structure is already under water. We are only seeing the upper deck

It was, in fact, a Deputy Marshal that was killed.
