WTH is a media person doing confronting protesters to start with. Once they do that they are no longer reporting the news, they are part of the news.
Bubba had just walked away from a loud, profane confrontation with the BLM guy (four seconds, if Wolf’s count is correct). You think the reporter was “confronting” Bubba by rushing up to ask what just happened?

quote:You're correct about the question, but everything I've seen says the shooter was the aggressor and would be hard-pressed to prove that he was in fear for his life. So, right question, but I still think he has little chance of a prevailing defense.
The QUESTION was whether having SOMETHING blow up in his face placed the guy in reasonable fear

Question for the board: What was on the victim’s shirt? It appeared to be BLM, but may have also included an anti-BLM message. I can’t make it out.
Looks like
BLM?
No shite!

Was his shop in the area of his murder?

this is sad, I feel so bad for his wife and dog. I wish he never chose to go there.

How long will the right put up with this?
We have the guns and the testosterone. Don’t see this ending well for the left.
If you could draw ANTIFA groups into municipalities that apply laws fairly you'll see it happen. Fighting them in jurisdictions that protect them is a lose/lose.

None of those errors are really relevant to the question of whether his response to the physical assault and subsequent gassing were reasonable.
I would argue that the one “error” that does matter is what did the shooter do to engage the victim. If shooter instigated the conflict, he has serious issue selling self defense to a jury.
If the victim just walked up a slapped shooter, then that changes everything, but this doesn’t seem to be the case.

What did Bubba do to the reporter that warranted the killer to pull and fire his gun. Was the reporter's life ever in danger with Bubba?

Also:
"You can only use as much force as you reasonably believe is necessary to protect yourself."
Like I said getting slapped, sprayed and feelings hurt does not constitute reasonable force here.

Kelter gets in Dolow’s area, they have a confrontation and Kelter slaps him with his left hand
Dollow is momentarily stunned, draws his weapon and points it at Kelter
Kelter shoots the bear spray in Dollow’s direction
Dollow fires his weapon once killing Kelter
Pinkerton man is going to prison

Police being there or not is a non factor and you could also say the guy that got shot should have just retreated from the area and not slapped or maced him.
Is slapping someone a justification for deadly force?
Pretty simple question.

I do not know. You think journos are not confrontational by nature?
I think journos and many lawyers are like hyenas after carrion.

The victim was already walking away from another confrontation, when the murderer made contact with him.
Yeah he walked right to the next guy and slapped the shite out of him.

My take on this: Dolloff's client was there to catch some action. Dolloff was going to increase the odds of that happening, by delaying the victim's retreat, but then he got bitch slapped, and the whole dynamic changed.
Add in the fact that the shooter was a leftist and interested in confronting the “patriotic” protesters. His social media history isn’t going to help him.

Also, why did he pull his gun? there was no reason to other than he wanted to shoot someone.
Victim had just finished slapping the piss out of his face.

Anyone know anything about the Denver DA? Are they bought and paid for by Soros being in a liberal city?
