This honestly might be why they're continuing to rally behind Biden after the initial post-debate meltdown. Even Newsom and Whitmer would likely be concerned with the optics of being promoted over their black VP.

She should worry about being replaced herself on the ticket. I don't think anything precludes that. Wes Moore from Maryland would calm the black vote down if they are worried about that.

Avg age of Presidents finishing their terms is about 61. Avg age of Presidents dying is about 72....although since Nixon that age has been going up quickly.

They so fricked right now!! The media fails to even mention that replacing Biden hinges on one thing and one thing only, Biden himself, must decide to drop out. It’s not up to the media or talking heads. Pedo Joe won’t drop out because those closest to him won’t push it either. Jill and Hunter won’t stand for it. As it is now, Wisconsin, Georgia and Nevada have already confirmed, if pick up he drops out, he can’t be replaced on the ballot unless he dies or is removed by the 25th amendment.

Joe Biden was a joke as a Senator. He ran for POTUS in 1988 and was quickly laughed out of the race when he was caught plagiarizing a speech (for probably the 100th time in his career), said he graduated in the top of his law school class when he got made at a guy in New Hampshire, and told people he marched for civil rights.
He didn't run again until 10 years later, hoping people forgot about how much of a dumbass he is. They didn't. He didn't make it beyond the first primary. Hell, they didn't even like him in the 2020 primary. The he was pushed to the front by the DNC. Democrats quickly forgot all 50 years of his buffoonery and unanimously hailed him as a great candidate.
The DNC could literally select a chimpanzee to run and Democrats would line up to tell you it was the greatest candidate in the history of the country. The "team" is all that matters. And you gotta support the team...!!!!
