Bill Clinton was responsible for a lot of that too because of the housing bubble he created that crashed.
Clinton wanted everyone to be able to own a home so he got regulations lifted. Everyone and their dog could qualify for houses they could never afford with crappy ARM mortgages and no down payment because of what Clinton did. It all crashed down by the end of GWs presidency..
Literally, every other house was in foreclosure or short sell in all the neighborhoods around where I live..

Also, Libya is a total disaster to this day. Remember when Congress called him out in it and they claimed it was Military Kinetic Activity, and Congress was like oh, well, um, carry on I suppose.

And the Doctors Without Borders they killed in the accidental hospital strike

Well, I blame the Democrat party for pushing “everyone deserves own a home.
We have the C-SPAN video clips from 2004 when the bush administration raised the yellow flags and all minorities in the Democrat party pushed back claiming it was racist to suggest that there was a problem looming, yet you had Fannie Mae CEO making like $90 million in five years , they were caught getting massive bonuses by fabricating their finances in their books
… remember there was a huge audit.
So I don’t know about all the banking system controlling the politicians I could see that, but at the end of the day, the Democrat leadership who are in front of a microphone in front of the TV and telling the world everyone deserves to own a home and putting pressure on banks to provide aggressive lending on the table was what led to the financial crisis in 2008
The Democrats crafty put a lot of the blame on Republicans and Wall Street greed.

ISIS was taking over when we exited, regardless of whether we rushed. The only way to prevent this was if we had found a talented strong man, such as Saddam, and installed him and supplied him with weapons.
That’s what we should have done right after we captured Saddam. I was all for that war, but we should never have deluded ourselves that we could build a democracy.
