So unless Vance's wife is running for office, what is your point?

The man and his wife have been anything but quite about his life, family, and beliefs. Hence the OP.

It's nothing compared to what I used to be. A lot of the clowns that post here are like those draw string toys that parrot 4-5 catchphrases when you pull the string.

You always say something like this, and never actually make any point. if you were a Christian, you wouldn't think it's funny to say that someone who claims to be a Christian, shouldn't marry a Hindu woman. These aren't two slight different denominations, but two entirely different belief systems. If you claim to believe in the God of the Bible, you don't go and marry someone of a pagan religion.

What are you saying wow about? A household should not contain two entirely different religions. If you object to that, the problem lies with you. The Bible is very clear about unequally yoked relationships.

Doubt Usha is really practicing religion. Wouldn’t be surprised if JD isn’t either

So are you claiming that Vance isn’t a Christian? Isn’t a good Christian? That he doesn’t or shouldn’t love his wife?

I just think that you sound bigoted.

Not sure Vance was much of a Christian when he met his wife. Obviously if he comes into his faith after-the-fact, it's a bit of a challenging situation to navigate but divorce wouldn't be an option.

The Bible doesn't tell us you can't turn to the Lord after your 20s.

I go back and forth over whether I think GLT is just doing a huge troll based on what's coming or is a sincere lesson in what's coming, but he gets a lot of people on record and I assess a 780 credick score.

Well it makes me question the sincerity of his beliefs if his wife is Hindu and his kids are being raised Hindu.

I'll admit my problem is that I'm stuck on this "dignity of the human person" thingy. We see people as they are.......God sees them as they could be.

Yep, not gonna lie, I "try" to follow the example of an itinerate Jewish preacher who lived in a town called Nazareth 2000 years ago.

His example as to how to deal with insults helped me deal with mine. I've had my share of people launching snickering insults at me. Honestly, some of those insults were warranted.

Jesus put it this way,"If your enemy strikes you on the right jaw or cheek give him your left jaw" - Matthew 5:39

Honestly, the times I didn't follow His advice, resulted in disaster for me.

Like I said we see people as they are - God sees them as they could be. And just maybe my sorry effort at restraint might just help them to reconsider their anger and rage towards me and others.

Jesus is a cool dude.

My understanding is that they’re being raised Catholic, but also partaking in Indian cultural traditions.

Yes, otherwise known as a Catholic... there is no salvation outside the church... But through God's Grace you maybe saved, not because you are Protestant, but in spite of.

There is no salvation outside of Christ. Maybe read Romans 10:9-10. The apostle Paul says absolutely nothing about the dogma of the church.
