I understand the issues people have with mail in voting but as long as he allows for in person voting its hard for me to not be on board with options if that is what he is planning. If he wants to shut down in person voting all together I would disagree.

Man, he’s so full of horse shite. I’ve voted twice since this mess started. Now, I wonder what could be different in the election this November and the ones we’ve already had this Summer?

And the only reason Kemp is governor of Georgia is that his opponent was an otherworldly level of terrible.

What exactly is your point there?

I am ok if they want to make exceptions for people to request absentee ballots. I don’t agree with mass mail outs.

This is already available for absentee ballot.

quote:

Hospitalized: If you expect to be hospitalized on election day and did not have knowledge of the hospitalization until after the time for early voting had expired; or you were hospitalized during the time for early voting and you expect to be hospitalized on election day; or you were either hospitalized or restricted to bed by your physician during early voting and on election day, you may apply through a General Application and once accepted by the registrar of voters, vote by mail.

On the application it asks for proof of hospitalization. That doesn’t seem difficult and should easily be obtained.

Also they already have a way for senior citizens and people in nursing homes to ask for absentee ballots.

The point is I would cut off my fricking hand before I would willingly or by omission elect a fricking Democrat.

Is he simply expanding the reasons one can request an absentee ballot or planning to mail out ballots to all?

Does he want to allow for in person voting but also have a mail in option for those at risk or sick...or he is trying to stop in person voting period?

What we have is an option for those at risk or sick to get an absentee ballot if they request it...hell anyone can do that.

What they want is a blanket mailout of ballots to anyone that is on the register (although I'd suspect that they would mail to even more people that are on the register)....if JBE starts to pivot to something like this then you're damn right everyone that voted for JBE over Rispone and Vitter should be held accountable.

I don't think anyone has suggested this yet even at the national level....even Dr. Fraud...errr Fauci...says that voting in person is OK.

The only good thing, or possibly bad if there is fraud, is lots of people moving around rt now and changing address. LA isn't full of go getters. Not sure how some of these people will even get their mail in ballots.

Or what if you are a student and are going to school? Sure if your parents lived close by, no problem.

Or if you were a student already and changed your address, but are now home because you won't have in class lectures, only online.

It wasn't that he was mean, it's that he was a damn liar, and it became clear in the runoff he was a bad candidate who did JBE's dirty work by soiling a good candidate.

No, allowing universal mail in voting is bad

Good.
Our state was going Trump anyways, but it sucks that stuff like this will happen in swing states.

This isn’t about Trump as far as JBE is concerned. This is about Cassidy.
