I think you just try bombing them to shite every time they build something. Do that long enough and the whole place collapses. Then, here's the important part, you don't rebuild them. Just leave them in the stone age, and if they look like they are coming out of it, bomb them again

Hasn't it always been said that Persia is where empires go to die? But trump and hegseth has a plan to finish off Persia. HA. This will be an epic failure that never should have been. And to top it off, watch the gulf countries kick the American bases out because they did nothing for them.

Watching MacGregor on Judge Nap after I watched Barnes on Judge Nap. Danny Davis is going crazy, too. It's all so depressing.

Well America is being defeated from within by marxist dumbing down our populace and creating a giant welfare state full of stupid people that don’t realize they are programmed. This will undoubtedly cause a civil war in this country.

So yea, it is possible. It’s happening now.

The Barbary Pirates were defeated after a naval barrage from the USA and then about the time they recovered, the British hit them harder.

In the first Barbary war we had eight marines and hired mercenaries to take Deena.

The second war was naval guns.

I hate that concept. All U.S. attempts to bring about "regime change" in the Middle East have been abject failures. Any "regime change" in Iran has to come from within. They've been a nation for 3,000 years-- they can do it if they really want to.

Other than some stuff you’ve posted on the Rant and M/TV Board this may be the first time I agree with you. Have an upvote on old Zap.

Did you know that simultaneously as we were working on the Manhattan Project we were also working on a project to make bat bombs? For real, bats strapped with little napalm pouches and small charges. We planned to put timers on them and release them from planes, letting them go to roost in the eaves and ceilings of the Japanese wood framed structure. Then......WHOOSH! Bat BBQ by the thousands.

The plan was actually feasible, too. A test run resulted in a general losing his brand new car when one of the locked and loaded test bats sought shelter in a shed area with a large propane tank. When the little booger went off he took the shed, tank, and a few vehicles with him.
True story.

No shite? That’s awesome. Gonna have to look it up. Do you know the name of the plan?

I believe it might be possible to make Iran submit if we can totally and completely blockade and isolate Iran from the outside world using naval and air power.

I dont think so. We can largely render them irrelevant, but I think The only way Iran submits is full scale revolt from its own populace or getting wiped out.

Libya comes to mind. Didnt we just go throw some F111s at them and Khadaffii folded like a cheap lawn chair. Been awhile and I was like 12 or something.

Well, you were proved wrong in Venezuela. If you changed “an enemy” to “this enemy” then maybe you are right.

Project Xray

Don't come back and pick over my retelling. It has been many years since I read/heard about it. My details may be a little foggy.
