well the book is out. just in time for christmas.

isn't the new mayor of new york set to buy an empty grocery store from his brother and turn it into a peoples grocery store run by the city. even marxist have brother in law deals.

i guess they will be going to the rose bowl. been a while. this should give minnesota hope. it's been longer for them playing in the rose bowl.

a while back, canadian, texas played for the state championship at nrg stadium in houston. that's a 590 mile drive. i bet there are games played at a further distance. i remember back in the 70's longview played odessa permian in a semi final match at jones stadium in lubbock. that was only 473 miles.

when they moved the cotton bowl to jerry world and the old orange bowl got torn down. that was a great stadium. they used to have a great parade in dallas to celebrate the bowl game. they quit doing it. not sure about the orange bowl parade but it used to be spectacular. only the rose bowl continues the traditions. growing up, there was nothing better than watching lindsey graham call the cotton bowl on cbs, curt gowdy call the rose bowl on nbc, and finish with jim simpson calling the orange bowl on nbc.
