re: "Which deadly sin most characterizes the modern world, and why"?

remember the 2 billion that biden tried to give to stacy abrams new ngo. our elected officials have set up government in a way to skim off money for their wealth. that is only one example. look at minnesota and california and their high speed rail grift. total greed and glutony. we are at the end of the line.
re: Take a look at this global map of oil tankers….isn’t she a beauty

with that kind of demand, you would think price of wti would be going up. is trump selling our reserves on the open market?

do you think that behind the scenes, the world is furious with trump and his war?

MAGA cannot takeover the republican party. a new party must be started.
re: Is the state of Texas at a demographics tipping point politically?

it will be interesting to see if the hispanics who voted for trump will continue to vote for republicans. they redrew the congressional districts and it will be interesting to see if republicans can win the hispanic districts. i have my doubts.
re: Operation Epic Fury has revealed an undeniable truth about Western Civilization.
Posted by texas tortilla on 4/11/26 at 8:46 am to Bass Tiger
sorry, but epic fury is not some kind of litmus test. it was an epic colossal mistake by trump. one thing for sure though is the energy price spikes are hitting pocketbooks. citizens are tired of their governments overlooking them and spending on illegals that just got there. watch what is going on in ireland.
re: How much blame does the USA hold for the migrant crisis in Europe?
Posted by texas tortilla on 4/8/26 at 4:35 pm to biglego
Usa put strong sanctions on Syria to get rid of Assad. Obama is responsible for the millions of Syrians which fled to Europe. And who took over from Assad? A jihadist who killed American soldiers and had a bounty on his head.

He is in a runoff for his job. All hands on deck. He is playing to the black folk in his district. Trying to fire them up to get out the vote. His opponent is county attorney and probably doesn't have the stroke to get on al Sharpton show.
re: Whether People Will Admit it or not, Israel is Screwing Up This Ceasefire

The far right part of the coalition that put Netanyahu in power is against the trump peace talks. Netanyahu's job is on the line. The greater israel folks can't have peace.
re: Odds that kinetic military engagement with Iran ends after two weeks?
Posted by texas tortilla on 4/8/26 at 7:38 am to LSUDonMCO
looks like it is going to end on iran's terms. i suspect the turning point for trump was the special operations event that went haywire. they tried to clean it up by saying it was a downed pilot rescue mission. based on that failure, there will be no boots on the ground and as trump said, they have already bombed everything that was of consequence. time to move on.
re: How is this a win?
Posted by texas tortilla on 4/8/26 at 6:17 am to boosiebadazz
this is a win because it keeps the world out of an economic depression. hopefully we get out of the middle east now. maybe this will be the end of the usa/cia's love of doing regime changes in distant countries. ukraine was a disaster and so was iran.

re: Australian gov arrested their most decorated veteran for war crimes
Posted by texas tortilla on 4/7/26 at 12:22 am to SallysHuman
The current Australian government is taking there country down with their energy policies. That country runs on diesel and they are running out fast. This arrest is a "look squirrel "moment to distract from their coming depression.

Well isn't this exactly what we have been doing in ukraine to get at the Russians? You didn't see this coming?

If tweet fails to load, click here. interesting speculation. re: Would the strait being really closed, to all traffic, be bad for the US?

Just keep you eye on Australia. They are fixing to be in a real jam. Even though they have horrible government, they are still one of our closest allies.
