I moved from GA to FL last year. Atlanta runs too much of the state

Keisha is leading 57% --43% now; it's still early

that's surprising - I thought Rick Jackson would easily win - I voted for neither.

Jackson seems like he could have run his campaign as a foster kid, adopted, self-made billionaire without having to put his head up Trump's arse but he couldn't help himself.

Keisha was just a terrible Atlanta mayor.

I don’t know much about GA, but was Bottoms even considered a decent mayor for Atlanta? I thought there were a good bit of problems under her watch.

she was terrible - it was during COVID and BLM and George Floyd so there was a ton of social unrest (probably not to blame on her) but I'm pretty sure she just bailed on her term early and left office.

Jackson was an idiot for coming out for data centers. There will be many lost votes for that including mine. I didn't vote for anyone.

He hasn't been campaigning with Trump for the past 2 months.

He separated himself.

I voted for him.
I think he is a snake though.
Say or do anything to become governor. Which is why he separated himself.

Keisha would be a disaster for the Dems. And I say that as someone that wants Dems to win.

Sometimes it’s not worth the short term win you get handing your flag to a moronic standard bearer.

Yea if she wins I’d consider moving back to la or to Al/FL

Though with the state house and senate I think the damage she could do would be blunted some

Yes you did. Your vote would have at least killed a democrat vote. But no, you stayed home.

my brother in law is in the TV and movie industry and my understanding is that it's not has hot in Atlanta / GA as it was a few years back. Basically due to politics that the industry doesn't agree with.

Unfortunately only have republicans to blame. Cant get their act together and that’s the one thing democrats can do, mobilize their voters and at least let you know what they stand for. Filth and deadbeats, which seems to be what Americans support.
