The Red River Rivalry: rich metrosexuals vs. poor dirt burglars, fighting over which program’s dusty trophy case deserves more respect. Texas hasn’t won a natty since 2005. Oklahoma hasn’t won one since 2000. At this point, the highlights belong on the History Channel.
Both showed up in the SEC talking like royalty. Zero SEC titles between them, and the Dawgs are collecting rent. Had they played here all along, they’d be Mississippi State and Vanderbilt with bigger hat budgets.
Enjoy the fair, fellas. Somebody has to win a stuffed animal, because neither of you is bringing home an SEC trophy.
