SCOTUS has been making waves in 26 and it’s showing how important it is to have a based and constitution first group of judges is.

They aren’t perfect, and I fully expect them to rule against birthright citizenship in the wrong direction, but as a whole I believe their actions have been good and justified.

Ron is the only one I can confidently name who has the exact makeup of a Alito or Thomas. He has proven time and time again to be staunchly conservative in his values.
He could serve for 30 years and make a lasting impact.

I think this needs to be handled by 47s admin before it’s too late.

We have seen that most SCOTUS judges drift left, so it needs to be someone hard right, so the drift is minimalized.

I generally don't like the guy but Cruz would be good on the court IMO

DeSantis is a presidential level politician, he just doesnt have the social presence to take down a guy like Trump when his base was baked in at 40-50% of the GOP primary vote and frankly needs some coaching on how to manage his communication and image to make the jump.

If he'd have waited, he'd be VP right now. And on course to be POTUS in '28.

Prefer Cruz to DeSantis. DeSantis is too valuable an operator to waste on the Court.

Why do you care what someone else does with their time? He’s certainly not the only one but doubt you call out others for the same.

This is simply not true. He was not in consideration for VP at all.

Desantis would do great on the Court. I would prefer him to be an active operator within the party, but if he's going to be shunned by the 30% of the party that are just never going to deal with him, then it may be the best path

He would do well on the Court

It won't matter if the Dems get control of congress. They're going to stack the court. This is why the Rs need to pass the Save Act and Redistrict Red States.

He has his talents and I think they best serve us on the court

Someone else can take his spot in the senate

Let's stick to judges serving on the court, not politicians

Yeah, I get that too.

But I whether that would be the reality under either Vance or Rubio. I don't think so. I know a lot of MAGA operators are entrenched against DeSantis, but we all know political blood feuds in this era have a tendency to rise and fall pretty quickly.
