I'm sure you'd love to have another Ketanji Brown Jackson, but most of us prefer our Supreme Court Justices to come equipped with a functional brain.

PS - Are you still drooling over the prospects for Newsom/AOC in '28?

Jackson, AOC, and Newsom are all significantly more intelligent than you

Admirable attempt at deflection. Care to address the actual claim of his post quoted below?

You want a Justice with no judicial experience and very limited legal experience?

I assume Christine Blasey Ford is at her therapist recovering the memories of the time she was at a high school party and Ron DeSantis sexually assaulted her.

I don't believe I have ever seen you post more than a sentence on here, and there is absolutely no substance or creativity in those posts. They are just enough for us to ascertain that you have TDS and blindly eat up what the leftist media feeds you.

DeSantis could do a long list of jobs very well... A high cabinet position. An executive position.

The last thing we need is a purely political Supreme Court justice appointee.

As an example Mike Lee and Ted Cruz are brilliant constitutional scholars... They both have the resume as clerking for the Supreme Court.

While I'm sure Desantis was a brilliant JAG officer. His duties were limited to signing off on leave an earnings statements... Writing last will and testaments.. Being a temporary on call lawyer for the special forces... and is probably brilliant In the details of rules of engagement.. military Law... and the UCMJ.

There are many constitutional scholars far more qualified. Mike Lee is a savant regarding the Constitution.

Certainly, that is true. Many people have run for major office and lost, multiple times, only to finally get it later. Reagan, famously ran for President I believe 3 times before securing the nod.

But Desantis could also help change the course of the nation from the Court too. He would be fantastic in that role.

Ron is also not acting like someone that believes he is going to be appointed to the Court. Someone needs to get the votes from the Senate, and he has continued to be pretty adversarial with members of Congress like Jeffries (I get that he is in the House but you get my point)

He just doesn't seem to be acting like it. In fact he has been ramping up stuff online that makes me think he is running again in 28, which is likely a mistake

DeSantis. DeSantis is too valuable an operator to waste on the Court.

The court has more of an effect on American policy and law than any single elected position.

I agree. He would be my pick if I had to make one. As far as constitutional law goes, he's at the top of the list.

Desantis is incredibly knowledgeable about the Constitution and the Founders. If you've ever heard him rattle off direct quotes from the federalist papers unprompted, you'd see it.

He'd do well in the role.

Given the past history with Rs nominating people and Jackson on the Court, its likely exactly what we need

I shite on Ted Cruz for his MIGA stance, but SCOTUS would be great for him.
