In a way, I get it. Trump has more lee-way with bombing Iran than removing extortionists and grifters from America.

The US justice system is a quagmire of Mother May Is. It's honestly gross how difficult it is to get anything done.

Characters change, but the game doesn’t. Israel has our number, and they use both money and blackmail as powerful leverage over the leaders of our country, who are effectively Zionist puppets.

We have done everything Israel would need to do to eliminate its Middle Eastern rivals so it can further expand its influence and territory. We did it for them. Saddam Hussein, critic of Israel, gone. Bashar al-Assad, gone. The Ayatollah, gone. Afghanistan thrown back into the stone ages. Politicians in DC don’t even hide it, they openly profess their love for Israel in new and disturbing ways.

I never once was delusional enough to believe that Donald Trump would start channeling Ron Paul when it came to foreign policy. Yet seeing Trump’s 2nd Administration wholly coopted by the neocon wing of the GOP certainly wasn’t on my bingo card.

With that said, I knew all along that Trump’s profligate spending tendencies eventually would undermine his MAGA legacy. This ultimately is why Trumpism is doomed to fail.

In 1984 it was reported that intelligence sources that Iran's production of a nuclear bomb was "entering its final stages" we have been told similar things over the last 40 years. At some point you have to call bullshite to their bullshite or just admit you are easily susceptible to being scared if leaders just use certain words.

The neocons are the assholes wrecking everything. There’s no “far right.” The issues you care about are characterized as “far right” by neocons so that they may continue to warmonger, and they can ostracize people with opposing political views to the War Machine, Big Banks, and Big Business. These entities are equally as morally bankrupt as leftists, bc they are also leftists. Collectivism is the absolute devil. Neocon leftists are freaking globalists who want to live in the Tower of Babel. They are collectivists who regard the individual as having no value. The individual is inefficient. These institutions cannot be having anything slow them down, especially not some pesky individuals with needs and wants and hopes and dreams. To neocons, "individuals" are only useful as economic units for the good of the mythical "all." Neocons will crush an individual and wreck him just as easily and as quickly as any communist. I may just be a poor ole country lawyer, lady of a certain age, shouting into the wind on a message board. But I will continue to rage against it as long as there is breath in my body. My God and my country demand it of me.

Neocons suck. They have inflicted more damage on the American Republic, the Constitution, and people around the world than just about any other group of suit and tie wearing heathens.

This Iran debacle will frick us hard. The only sliver of hope is Vance has been reported to be opposed, so he won’t be completely tainted when he runs for President against Newsom in two years. But I won’t be surprised if Vance is bluntly critical of this misadventure when he’s running and I won’t be surprised if Trump responds by trashing him on social media. I think there’s a real good chance this Iran clusterfrick brings us total Democrat control of the Congress along with President Newsom and Vice President Whitmer.

And it didn’t have to be this way. We were poised to take flight. Everything was lined up.

Even more depressing than the Revenge Of The Neocons is just how easily people are swayed and devolve back into twisted roided out like versions of war cheerleaders. There were actually people covering for our blowing up school kids in a thread with posts saying they had it coming or this can’t be avoided, it’s just collateral damage. Truly depraved stuff. There is a thread where people are hoping the fbi and cia illegally spy on Tucker Carlson and arrest him and put him in prison for saying bad things about the war; he’s a foreign op!!! These posters are actually turning into Peter Stzrock and John Brennan in real time. It’s abisurdly impressive.

I thought most people had had enough of neocons and uncertain unlimited military adventurism. I thought after 25 years of Iraq and Afghanistan and Libya and countless other frick ups that bled out people and our money that people would have had enough.

But just drop a couple bombs, fire a few missiles, kill or kidnap a bad guy, and we’re back to freedom fries and frick yea ‘murica low level thought processes among a lot of people, many of whom were supposedly against events like we are in now or at least put forth that stance.

Oh well.

ESCALATING U.S. DEBT

I’m blown away that most of the people on this board can’t comprehend that this War, and the Middle East wars precededing it, are destroying this country financially. You are called a Panican if you point it out.

The U.S. national debt just passed $38.9 trillion.

The government is paying $1.8 million every single minute just in interest. Not building roads. Not schools. Not hospitals. Just covering the bill on money already borrowed, and the bill keeps growing exponentially.

Your share as an American citizen is $115,000. Your household's share is $288,000. Think of it like every family in the country being handed a mortgage they never signed for and can never sell.

The government is adding $7.2 billion of debt every single day. That is like buying a brand new sports stadium every day entirely on borrowed money.

The easiest way to picture the whole thing is this. Imagine you max out your credit card and can only afford to pay the interest every month. The balance never goes down. It just keeps getting bigger. That is exactly what Washington is doing right now, except the credit card has no limit and nobody is cutting it up.

Interest payments are now the second biggest expense in the entire federal budget. Bigger than Medicare. Bigger than defense.

Chart really should separate by 4 year terms. Misleading to show some bars as 4 vs others as 8.

Other than that, you’re right. People ate up the Medicaid / USAID red meat so eagerly that there was barely even any reaction to the holistically ridiculous GOP budget proposal in terms of the net.

Taking them out of the equation swings the power dynamic in our favor.

The fundamental problem here is our debt-financed monetary system serves as the funding mechanism for both the Welfare and Warfare State. The UniParty® exists to promote the Deep State over every other concern while the Deep State exists to promote our nation’s monetary system over every other concern.

Any vote in this UniParty® charade is thus ultimately a vote for the left or right wing of the Deep State. This is why both parties support — to varying degrees — endless welfare, unlimited bailouts and perpetual war.

Yet our current economic trajectory — by any objective measure — is simply unsustainable long term. AOC is indeed the logical end result of our nation’s political system.

Nothing fundamentally changes until this nation returns to a sound monetary system. As it stands, we should expect things to get much worse before they get better.

I legit don't understand the necessity of this war, any more than I understood the necessity of the war in Iraq.

Here is the thing - Kamala was such a poor choice for an opponent. You can complain about Trump, but in the end, you would have hated Kamala way more.

Trump knows this. Plus, he can't run again. Therefore, he has license to do whatever the frick he wants to do.

The jury is still out as to whether or not the attack on Iran will turn into an Iraq / Afghanistan sized fiasco. I don't think it will, but it is still early.

I have always been a Trump Supporter.

He has been the best President of my lifetime.

I am complaining about this because I am a Trump supporter, and that's what makes this situation all the more heartbreaking.

"You would have hated Kamala way more" is the argument that got us George Bush, Mitt Romney, John Thune, Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell, John McCain, etc. I like Trump way better than all of the above. This war is mystifying and confusing, and contrary to everything else he's ever done as a candidate and president. It's ok to say so. Hopefully, if enough of us do, then we can find a way out of this mess. And it's why I will continue to shout into the wind.
