Election Day voting should be really awesome this year. I'm looking forward to the short lines.

Here it takes longer to early vote than vote on Election Day. Only one place in the county to early vote.

Why is this? Wouldn't it be safe to assume that the same number of polling places, but many millions more voters = longer lines?

The mass of early voting should keep the business on nov 3 down seeing as they already voted

I'm waiting until election day to cast my ballot in person.

Like I have always done.

I am terribly sorry that it bothers you.

We have jobs. And I'd have to drive to another town on a lunch break I never get. And because of COVID people have been standing in line hours to vote in early voting.

Republicans voting on election day is good. Gives the dirty cheating dems less info on how many votes to harvest

We all know how much Trump supporters hate lines.

This. If they pull some shite like an attack on the power grid, we got that taken care of here. We'll still vote. Trump voters will be there. The dems not so much. Terror threats? Bring it. I wouldn't be surprised by some shenanigans.

I live in progstain central where people wear masks riding their bikes solo, and I've seen literally ONE Trump sign in the entire tri-zipcode area. I think the elementary school where I've voted for 20 years will be a ghost town as usual next Tues.

The lines are longer now than on election day. There are dozens, often hundreds, of polling places on election day, compared to just a few now.

I recently waited an hour to vote early, but only waited about 10 minutes in 2016 on election day.

This. Our county allows early voting but only at the county courthouse and the line can get long. On Election Day our precincts open up and the lines are pretty short.

The rural fire station that is my polling location is about 15 minutes away. If I wanted to vote early I would have to drive a hour each way plus wait in a longer line. I will be in line (hopefully a short one) at 7 AM election day.

It makes it tougher for the Democrats to know how much fraud they need.

It’s better that way.

On Election Day only those on the roles for a particular polling place can vote there, unlike early voting where anyone can vote this limits lines and time required, if it takes me more than 10 minutes to vote I will be very surprised.

The only reason turnout will be so high is due to early voting and mail ins.

Election day turnout will be quite normal or low even.

My company is giving us as much time as we need to vote on 11/3. No meetings to be scheduled, etc. They aren't giving us that on random days.

I don't trust the post office enough to mail in my ballot.
