My company is giving us as much time as we need to vote on 11/3. No meetings to be scheduled, etc. They aren't giving us that on random days.

Yeah, that's a no-go for me. I work at a hospital, we're already short-staffed as it is. I work on the 3rd, I would likely have missed the timeframe (have to go in too early, leave too late).

I don't trust the post office enough to mail in my ballot.

I see this being mentioned several times. I didn't do an absentee/mail in ballot; I went to a nearby place (10 minute drive) and we did the electronic ballot thing. First time voting early, as far as I could tell it's the exact same process as the regular day.

Oh, and guys, it WILL take longer than you are used to. Covid rules in place .
They were behind a plexiglass window like a bank teller, they wiped my ID down for me (may we? Sure, please do). They handed me a "clean" pen to sign, and then told me to place it in the "contaminated" box.
They handed me a "clean" card (like a debit card) to register the machine, then told me to place it in the "contaminated card" box afterwards.

They should actually be shorter the closer we get.

This is so funny.

"I don't want to vote early and deal with long lines created by Democrats voting so I'm going to wait until election day when it will only be Republicans voting and I can be in and out in a jiff."

Oh, but Trump's gonna win.

I’ve never had a problem on Election Day. There are multiple booths set up and at least 4 scanning machines. I feel safer voting Election Day than early voting. It’a crazy to think Republicans won’t show up. Hell they’ll be there at 6:00 am before they gotta go to work so relax dude.

Mississippi is one of five states without no-excuses early voting. Absentee voting in Mississippi is available to anyone who is 65 or older or who has a temporary or permanent disability. It is also available to people who have to work on Election Day when polls are open or to people who will be out of town on Election Day, including college students.

I am getting a little worried I may have to wait in line. I only get one hour paid leave for voting, I hope it doesn't take longer than that.

El Segundo guy, as in where Zha Zha Gabor did her time for slapping a cop?

I use to work at Xerox. The El Segundo Police treated me like a migrant worker.

I’ve never waited hours to vote . I’ll show up at some point in the day cast my vote and be done. Early voting is way worse driving to the same place as everyone else and waiting

I waited 4 hours to vote on Election Day in 2018, 25 minutes early voting in 2020.

You should gladly give up a couple of hours worth of your pay to play your part in preventing the Dementiacrat and Kamala from taking America on a rocket ship to ruin.

It took me 20 minutes to vote last week in NC

So you’ve never been behind Democrats at the grocery store? Longest transaction ever.
