I don't like how so many Republicans are waiting until Election Day to vote

With this year supposed to be the single biggest turnout by percentage in over 100 years, waiting until election day to vote makes me very nervous if we are relying on Republicans to turn out. The lines to vote will be absolutely absurd given the number of people expected to vote. If someone arrives at a polling place and the wait is many hours, I'm sure there is a percentage of people that would turn away.

Actually in many states republican early voting is up.

I know most of the people in my area have voted already.

I’ve never waited hours to vote . I’ll show up at some point in the day cast my vote and be done. Early voting is way worse driving to the same place as everyone else and waiting

All five of us non-Democrats in Nola will be in and out of the precincts very fast.

Lines won’t by any longer than usual

Of course it is up, but no matter what happens in early voting, Republicans will still need to rely on the big election day advantage that they have for every election.

The lines are longer now than on election day. There are dozens, often hundreds, of polling places on election day, compared to just a few now.

I recently waited an hour to vote early, but only waited about 10 minutes in 2016 on election day.

It’s never taken me more than 15 minutes to vote.

Lighten up Frances.

Why is this? Wouldn't it be safe to assume that the same number of polling places, but many millions more voters = longer lines?

This was part of the reason I voted early, but I would have been voting in a heavily democratic area so I should've just waited and suppressed the vote as much as I could.

Good to know - I was always under the impression election day voting is much longer. Maybe it is just that in the larger cities

This is a legitimate concern

IMO the large turnout for early voting are 75% Repubs. Most of the Libs are scared to come out from under their beds cause of the Chyna flu. They gonna to mail in.

My wife and I are voting on election day. I don't trust the federal workers of the post office who are 90% dems to carry my ballot.

Can’t you early vote in person in your state?

Republicans voting on election day is good. Gives the dirty cheating dems less info on how many votes to harvest
