quote:
Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Continue living a life in a way that readies you to stand face-to-face with your creator, and prepared to atone for your all of your actions and choices

Absolutely not. Wishcasting the apocalypse is stupid, counter-intuitive, goes against Christian teachings, and is extremely harmful to civilization as a whole.

Every generation says this. Just like the one before. From hunter gather, to fire, to the wheel, to writing, to boats, to new religions, to electricity, to smart phones.......and then SOCIAL frickING MEDIA.

No idea. That's up to God, not me.

The most important thing for me is that the end of the world occur in February so that we get the whole college football season.

Meh, change happens. How do I handle that which I cannot control?

100%. WW3 will be happening in the next couple years
Countries are going to get tired of the oil issue and inflation and turn on us. Our stockpile of weapons will be depleted and china will come after us

I’m thinking that when Christians were being fed to lions as sport, they thought the end was near too.
The truth is, the end is always near, because we can die at any moment.

Probably not. We have been in the last days for the last 2,000 years. Jesus can come back at any time, but I’m not a dispensationalist.

Nowhere does the Bible say to not look into that. Very much so the opposite. Its why he lists the signs.

My dad’s good friend was convinced that society was collapsing and he had a compound in MS he stocked with guns, ammo, food, other supplies and equipment. This was late 70’s early 80’s. When he passed in the early 2000’s, I helped his wife clean out and sell a bunch of stuff. For over 50 years he was prepared, that’s a long time to worry about something that never happened.

I think the end of days will be unimaginable compared to what is going on right now. Things right now are way too good to be even close to the end IMO.

Quit threatening me with a good time....

I believe I will know neither the hour nor the day.

Man, such a loaded question!! All we know for sure is that Jesus told us "no man knows...".
Imagine if you would've asked this question during WWII. Folks would've certainly believed the end was near.
Now we face AI and a federal government that's bordering on needing to be overcome by it's law abiding citizens....
Not to mention all the globalist progressive commies.
I honestly dont think my grandchildren will escape the "end". But what do I know? I'm just some gyy on an internet discussion board! Lol

Not saying tomorrow... but in the next maybe 10 years?
I have no idea.
Jesus clearly told His disciples, only the Father knows the day of Jesus return.
One thing I will say is a lot of the wicked and immoral things happening today certainly lead many Believers to think the end times are playing out.
Something to think about, the explosion of technology over the past 75-100 years could be the key to a true Golden Era if used in a moral and just manner.
On the other hand, if Satan wanted a quasi omnipresence around the world he could have it with the current technology using AI and mass global communication technology to assist him with his evil deeds all around the world.

Several things are definitely aligning.
