While it seems pretty bad right now, and it is, I would just point out that God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah due to their evil ways so maybe it's not as bad as we think. Plus, we still have a lot of good people of faith praying.

According to Carl Sagan’s “compressed into one year” analogy, 11:59:59 PM on December 31 has been happening for about 200 years. So yes, we are certainly in the end times, but still a long way to go from where we sit.

No one said day or hour.
Are Christians instructed to be ignorant?
You're wrong.

Actually, I am not.
The Bible is pretty clear on this topic and jjdoc starting a dumb thread does not change it.
Just go live your life, it is too short to argue on a message board.

How many believe we are looking at the end of days?
Not saying tomorrow... but in the next maybe 10 years?
If you lived in the mid 1930’s , the same could have been said.

No one knows the day, even the hour. Just do the right thing and believe.

In Christian Zionism, the "ingathering of the exiles" is the belief that the return of Jewish people to the Biblical land of Israel fulfills end-times prophecy. Christian and Jewish traditions both speak of this gathering, but Christian Zionists view modern Jewish immigration as a required clockwork step before the Second Coming of Jesus Christ
They took back Israel in 1948 and there are still more that are scattered all over the world.

Immigrants to Israel: 1948-1952
(July 1953)
In May 1948, when Israel became independent, there were some 600,000 Jews in the country. By the time the battles subsided, toward the end of that year, 110,000 immigrants had arrived, 6,000 Jews had been killed in the war, and the stabilizing borders contained 100,000 Arabs or perhaps a bit more. The total population was 800-850,000.
By the end of 1952, 738,891 immigrants had arrived (this includes the 110,000 who arrived in the second half of 1948).

This board cracks me up. Most of the posters here enjoy wallowing in misery.

I believe we are approaching the end times described in the Book of Revelation and foretold through the prophecies throughout the Bible.
