SA has been fighting the Houthis and other Iran proxies (especially in Yemen) for like a decade now, and failing.

we have already done battle with the houthis. remember? we threw the kitchen sink at them and accomplished nothing. we finally gave up and left.

Now...granted we know the Iranian leadership doesn't give two shits about its people and if they're starving, and there's no real elections to have them voted out when times get horrible. But that country has to be near a breaking point based on reports like this.

Meanwhile, WTI, Brent and Murban are all down this morning. I guess we'll see if that holds, which if so, then the markets don't believe it's dire, or if this dip is just a temporary rubber band from the last couple of days, and proceeds to climb back up after today.

TLDR Version: The Iranian economy, government and people are way worse off from this conflict than the American economy, government and people. However, they also don't have elections for their people to vote in new leadership. We do, so the Trump Administration is hopefully going to do their best to tame the narrative being pushed by the Democrats and Lamestream Media regarding how the U.S. economy and people overall are doing.
