Still confusing age groups with ideological groups I see.

Duh, but it wasn't boomer men. I was men in positions of power. You can't blame boomers for something that a few people did that the gov't and the media was championing. I grew up knowing that affirmative action plans were unconstitutional and I wasn't alone.

BS! Affirmative action, original DEI, Was around since the 70s.The boomers paid for it 1st.
It (AA) covered everyone but white males...including white females.

It’s true.
Weak men punished other men.

No they didnt because the country wad 80%+ white in the 70s, women still didnt go to college, and globalization was still 2 decades away.
Boomers werent even touched by DEI and by the time there were actual entry level candidates that could be DEI, the boomers were already in the work force too long to have to compete.
Boomers didnt experience hardly a single second of DEI.

Boomers taught their daughters how to skip church and get divorced so millenial men could never get married

So the “Boomer men” who had worked their way up the corporate ladder to put themselves in the position to change their company’s corporate philosophy and embrace diversity didn’t do enough? They should have just resigned their positions of leadership and hand them to “non-boomers”?
LMFAO. I was a UPS driver with a college degree. UPS has very detailed reports measuring job performance every single day. Once I submitted my letter asking to be considered for a promotion to management (this was the process to migrate from being a bargaining unit, hourly employee/Teamster into management), I had several black drivers with high school diplomas, less experience and inferior performance that were promoted to supervisor before me. When I was a supervisor and my Division Manager advised me that I would be promoted to manager when the next opening came up. When it did, the District Manger was forced to promote a woman, they created a bullshite position for her and forced another manager to oversee two operations centers for several months until I was promoted.
UPS has made a conscious effort to be diverse since the 50’s. Google UPS and the March Foundation.

Boomers continue to work
But if your contention actually were true, the complaints about it would be expected to arise more from GenX than from GenY. Yet that is not the pattern in evidence.

In my mind, boomers (reasonably) did not understand the harm that would flow from accommodating the precursors to this stuff.
In retrospect it's easy to say "hey, you know, when you HR-ified everything you were not only destroying productivity and quality, you were also damning generations of men, completely upending male-female dynamics and ruining western society." But Dale was just trying to go along to get along thinking the blip of this stuff would pass.

That is exactly correct.
The old white men sold out for the street cred and the praise, so they implemented DEI while keeping their own plum jobs.
It's the younger year-groups of white men who are now suffering.
White people never look out for each other. We will always stab each other in the back and laugh about it later.
No wonder Black People don't trust Whitey. I don't trust Whitey either. Maybe because my DNA profile says I'm part Black.

Boomers got off easy. Affirmative Action was way different than DEI. The way that AA worked was this: if 2 candidates were exactly equal in qualifications, give it to the minority and not the white guy. That is the way it was supposed to work.
DEI works like this: give the job to the minority, and not the white guy, regardless of the qualifications.
Boomers are responsible for this, and are also responsible for allowing our American institutions to propagandize our youth.

I swear, the Boomers are treated even worse than Trump (who's also a Boomer).
Too many people with "lazy logic," but I guess it's the best they can do.

BS. Was there/
A Action was overseen by the EEOC, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, which was headquarter in the F Edward Hebert Bldg. It was run by women and they seemed to hate white males.
That was in 1968,
Returning Nam vets learned that the picking order was 1 black women,2 black men, 3 white women, 4 white men vet or not.
I worked with a Vet group trying to get Vets back into a country that had no use for us or "our" war. The EEOC Fought against us for federal jobs, Post Office, Fed LEO....etc. They wanted the jobs for their people 1st

The stock market is the driving factor behind DEI initiatives in the corporate world.
The largest investors in America are public sector pension plans. The largest of those being public teachers’ pensions. Most of the members of those plans place extreme value on things like DEI, social justice and climate awareness. They want to invest in companies that reflect these values.
Therefore the firms like Vanguard and BlackRock tell publicly traded companies that if they want them to invest in their company they must meet certain metrics in regards to DEI and the such. CEOs don’t care about the quality of their product or service. They care about their stock price because they answer to a board that cares about stock prices. Why do you think companies like Tractor Supply or Cracker Barrel push DEI initiatives? It’s certainly not to appeal to their customer base.
So….if we didn’t allow public sector pension funds to invest in their company stock market, particularly female dominated pension funds, DEI wouldn’t exist. The other option is to somehow make a law that the investors in a company can have no say in how that company is run. Which is probably worse than just denying a section of the population an opportunity to invest.

AA didn't require equal qualifications at all. It was designed to rectify pass discrimination. IE, if a cop must have 10 years experience for promotion and blacks were banned from promotion before AA, then to make up for it the less experienced cop got promoted even though he was not as qualified as the white cop.
The same thing happened with school desegration and AA. To balance faculties at previously all white schools they banned hiring of whites at some schools regardless of qualifications. It was all about numbers.

Terrible argument. You should feel bad.
First of all, the video is talking about the events of the last 10+ years when boomers were absolutely in control. Secondly, you date range of “65+” includes the 70,71,72,73,74,75,76 etc etc year olds. No one is walking about them.

So Progressives and Liberals are now trying to deflect from the policies they championed to blame “old white men”?
Just jump to the end and tell what reparations you want for all of the atrocities these old white men participated in to keep you from succeeding.
