this is what scares me, the “money” always knows!

EXCEPT for 2016, and my theory in that is that Trump just shocked the world & they underestimated him & didn’t have the STEAL on their A-GAME, and nothing they could do last minute.

then in 2020, they had a plan.

ie. Plumbing Leak in Atl & the “mysterious boxes” start being pulled from underneath the tables.

ie. 110% of the population voting in certain areas in Michigan.

ie. and on and on and on, the point is, when they know that they have to cheat, they will stop at nothing.

and they will force the country into major chaos & then round up the paddy wagons like they are doing in the UK.

LOOK NO FURTHER THAN THE UK, because that’s what’s coming. but here, it’s a different story, the citizens are armed to the teeth.

rough seas ahead, they are not gonna allow Trump a victory, the fix is in and the Money sees it.

these people will only understand physical force, that’s the only way out of this.

and if that doesn’t happen, you can kiss the USA goodbye because it cannot go another 1-2 years like this, much less 4.

He can bitch about Georgia and 2020 all he wants, but that isn't going to do him any favors in 2024. Plus, despite what he thinks or some on this board think, Georgia had been a project since 2012 for the Democrats. They frickin announced it. No one wanted to listen.

Don't the oddsmakers adjust their odds based on how they want people to bet, not on who they expect to win?

Don't they adjust their odds in an attempt to get the same total money bet on both sides, so that the house losses will be minimal?

The regime took the gloves off with COVID, mail-in voting, and handing the election to Biden.

The regime is now flexing even more by showing it can generate public support (fake or real doesn’t matter) for an all-time dud like Kamala.

Also, this, regarding the electorate: “I think of a man. And I take away reason and accountability.”

It sure is a popularity contest....and for the 10 -12% it's that and an organizational thing as well. Whomever can wrangle the data on them and craft the right tailoring will sway them. Trump and MAGA have not necessarily figured it out yet. They are a fill lake. Deep in the middle but ridiculously shallow as you get near the shore

Of course I did.

Unlike you guys—and I know this is a foreign idea for y'all—I don't decide whether a policy is a good one or not based on who proposes it, although that can certainly be a preliminary clue about whether I'm likely to agree with it or not once I investigate it, such as Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump agreeing on tariffs.

Here's a paper detailing the negative results of Reagan's tariffs: Cato Institute

Here's an analysis of the results of the Trump (now the Trump-Biden tariffs, since Biden liked them and kept them in place) as of June 2024: Tax Foundation

From the article:
quote:

Candidate Trump has proposed significant tariff hikes as part of his presidential campaign; we estimate that if imposed, his proposed tariff increases would hike taxes by another $524 billion annually and shrink GDP by at least 0.8 percent, the capital stock by 0.7 percent, and employment by 684,000 full-time equivalent jobs. Our estimates do not capture the effects of retaliation, nor the additional harms that would stem from starting a global trade war.

Academic and governmental studies find the Trump-Biden tariffs have raised prices and reduced output and employment, producing a net negative impact on the US economy.

Trump is part of the reason your groceries cost so much. And if he does what he says he would do if elected, that's going to get worse.

Own it, cult member.

No...that's why I typed the word BIDEN in all caps above while I was posting the link to Biden instituting it.

Oddly enough, Reagans vehicle quotas led to "luxury Japanese brand" vehicles which further damaged American mfg.

Protectionism creates inefficiencies which are then exploited by people smarter than the American voter.

These are prop bets with low limits that most books don't actually offer.

There isn't big money coming in on the election that moves the number.

I agree, and that's Trump's job, to expose her for the vacuous candidate we think she is. But for right now, she is the candidate with the positive world view. And that's not media spin; that is the fact.

The only candidate Trump could beat would have been Biden. That's why the Rinos wanted someone else. Trump has hijacked the party and made it an 8 year loser. There were so many signs, but the MAGA side has its blinders on. Desantis was the answer.

Trump had better get things in gear or he’s going to lose to the worst democrat ticket ever assembled

This thing shouldn’t be close except for the fact that Trump struggles to stay on message.
He has tons of air time yet he squanders it with arbitrary nonsense.

Frankly, I don’t think he has a strong grasp of the issues and would rather just ramble about whatever comes into his head.

It pisses me off because I literally hate the liberals and Kamala Harris makes my skin crawl.
I cannot stand to listen to a single word out of her mouth.

She is infinitely beatable.

He had an idea of what he wanted to discuss with Elon but he didn't prepare. He's the extemporaneous guy.
