Gas prices were down and the economy was improving quickly, then the war in Iran happened

You can talk about 100 different things that led to the midterm disaster, but the war in Iran is the only reason this happened. Gas prices were down and that meant everything else was too.

Yes, Iran threatened us, but they have for the past 45 years. Trump’s ego got the best of him, he gave in, attacked, then the economy started sucking again.

I have voted for Trump 3 times, but there is no denying that he has simply been all talk for the past year.

It all boils down to Iran. People were aggravated with the lack of Epstein files, but people are outright pissed about the Iran shite and the resulting gas prices. We were already quietly irritated that prices weren't coming down much like Trump promised us, but the Iran war and resulting spike in gas prices is what did him in. Then he started saying he'd try to send $5,000 to every adult if the republicans won... conservatives know how insanely bad of an idea that was. He's fricking retarded.

I agree. Already some discontent over Epstein and tariffs, but explicitly breaking the “no new wars” promise and then it coming from Americans pocketbooks is where is approval started to really sink. Throw in some blatant corruption/personal enrichment and alignment with big tech on things like data centers, and I think people stop feeling like he’s actually fighting for them.

Trump took Israel’s bait, and probably a back alley payday, and drug us into a conflict that is not winnable and threatens life as we know it. It was a gross miscalculation so large that it leads me to believe it was by design.

Yes, because paying $0.30 more at the pump is worse than open borders, universal healthcare, forced vaccination, boys in girls bathrooms, a packed SC, liberal judges flooding the whole nation, drastic Islam sympathizing, less patriotism, social media manipulation and control, increased welfare state and reliance, electoral college destroyers in power…I could go on

The buck stops with Trump. He’s acted for the last 8 mos like he’s a politician who’s not on the ballot again. Except he was per se and the Republicans paid the price. They also share some blame, but Trump gets the lion’s share.

I have to admit, I was surprised by the bluenami last night, thought for sure it was going to be 2016 all over again.

So he we are.

Am I the only one who was kinda looking forward to getting that check?
