On the cuck part, I have to disagree. There is nothing better than sitting in the chair in the corner of the hotel room and watching your wife getting pounded hard, deep and fast. Listening to her moaning and screaming. It is simply amazing.
What's with All the down votes? Ha ha. Why does it matter to any of you what someone else enjoys?

I understand your frustration. I also understand you get substantial subsidies. Will these subsidies not keep you afloat until you find another crop to grow that has a higher price?

Oh look another “I voted for Trump but… post”

Farmers were struggling before the tariffs. It’s due to input costs being too high because seed, chemical and equipment companies overcharge US farmers to subsidize low prices in South America so they can expand markets.

It’s also due to an oversupply of grain worldwide. China is buying soybeans again and it hasn’t had made a dent outside of a short rise in prices that came back down. This is because there’s oversupply. If supply was tighter prices would be up even without China buying from us because others would have to buy more from us.

The problem is South America continues to expand farm acreage because they are making money at current prices due to lower input costs. That problem isn’t going away tariffs or no tariffs

Is it the job of the president to not artificially frick up the market?

As a conservative, I think it is.

Now if you are a populist, I understand that the only obligation you think the POTUS has is to stick it to "them." Since populists only have one guiding principle, that being Us vs Them.

But conservatives favor principles like personal freedom and responsibility and see the government as something to guarantee that freedom and not get involved otherwise. We don't like the POTUS artificially fricking up a market. We'd much rather deal with a free market.

Of course there are. Trump isn't conservative, he's a populist, which means he's a completely mixed bag.

But you should have known he would do this in his second term. He did exactly the same thing in his first.

His first round of tariffs directly resulted in $28 billion in aid to farmers, and he promised even bigger tariffs in his second term.

Why are you surprised?

Also a fourth generation farmer who voted for Trump. Would vote for him again tomorrow if given the chance. I still truly believe he is doing what is best for America. As far as the farm problem the simple truth is there are too damn many farmers. Half of them honestly need to go out of business. When I started farming your goal in a great year was to make 35 bushel soybeans 180 bushel corn and in a super good year 1000 lb of cotton per acre. Now you can make 90 bushel soybeans, 300 bushel corn and 1750 lbs of cotton in a perfect year. New crop genetics is your biggest problem.
Once the number of farmers are cut in half though people will have to get used to wild price fluctuations because there will not be large carryover to absorb these problems. Would be interesting to see.

You don’t have to grow soy for China.

I don’t feel sorry for you.

I’m not going to take it up the arse and put up with illegal immigration because some douche canoe wants to sell soy beans to China.

The prices of soybeans are too dependent on China buying them.

Hopefully you are not using roundup. Glyphosphate is killing us all.

You are the problem friend.

Single issue voters who won’t tolerate one second of the pain necessary to fix these problems are a far larger issue than who occupies the WH.

Tariffs: Retaliatory tariffs by China. This caused exports in soy, pork, and wheat to almost be cut in half.

Wrong. China changed their feed restrictions and has a surplus of soybeans and soybean meal. Plus Brazil had record production.

You should have foreseen that. You planted the wrong row crop this past year.

You obviously have no clue how farming and the marketing of commodities work. Unlike other businesses who set a price for their product, farmers must accept what is offered on the Chicago Board of Trade less any fees assessed by the local elevator. Any political whim can have a disastrous effect of prices.

Being a test pilot is also a risky way to make a living.
