Expectations met. I had us going 9-3. I also feel really good about the future. I’m a big Ty Simpson fan, but I do think his skill set is limited compared to the 2 behind him. I feel really good about either one of these young guys the next couple seasons. I also like the young skill players we have comic back mixed in with this next recruiting class
Agreed. I tip my hat to LSU. They went out and got their guy. I’d be cautiously optimistic if I were an LSU fan, but realistically, he was probably the best coach that you could go and get right now. He’ll average 9-10 wins and have you competing for titles every year. The way this conference is set up now, that’s a good thing. He’ll probably lose a couple games he shouldn’t on occasion as well. But for the fans being outraged, they’d be celebrating too if their University went out and poached a quality coach from another school

Yall giving UGA way too much credit. They looked good against Texas, and really other than that had a very mediocre schedule compared to Bama’s. Beat Tech by 7. Beat Florida by 4. This has been a really good job of coaching by Kirby, but this UGA team ain’t what they used to be. I think we’re better on both sides of the ball right now despite our inconsistencies on offense lately

Limited skill set. Good college quarterback, not great. The 2 behind him are better. Simple as that

Everyone complaining about Ryan Williams needs to realize that his best skill set is taking the top off the defense. Unfortunately, QB 1, Simpson’s biggest issue is hitting the deep ball. Austin Mack/ Ryan Williams will be a much better duo, if they stick around
