Texas lost the game because they were as soft as wet toilet paper. Bama ran the ball easily and stopped the run. Colt McCoy took one hit from Dareus and made a smart business decision. With or without McCoy, Texas wasn’t going to win that football game.

I’ve seen a lot of people melting on this forum, but I don’t think I’ve seen a melt that lasts for 17 years. I’ve got to admit that this is impressive. I’m a huge Bama fan, but I honestly haven’t thought about that 2009 season for quite awhile. We do appreciate your interest in our fine program though :cheers:

I’d agree with this assessment, but weather could have an impact. If we get bad weather, it would probably favor UGA, because it could impact our passing game. That being said, we have the better quarterback, and I’d have a hard time picking against Keelon

Did you read all of the text? His daughter bought a bell from a Miss St fan. We don’t know for sure it’s her bell. As far as the other post where he said he’ll trade it for a jersey, he said he thought he was being trolled and didn’t realize it was really Kamario’s mom. Some of you folks read one sentence and completely lose your minds. Sounds like it’s his daughter’s bell. If it’s not, some Miss St fan stole it from Kamarios mom

Russaw had great high school film. He looked like he could be a Reuben Foster type talent at Bama. Apparently he didn’t want to play inside and he really wasn’t long enough to be a great pass rusher. So I agree he was playing the wrong position. That, and it sounded like he wasn’t coach able, injuries, and apparently lazy. Not a good mix

I cringed when the SEC announced a 9 game SEC schedule because it’ll do nothing but knock out a few quality teams in this conference from getting in the playoffs. I think we’d all be better off just eliminating conference games and pulling a ND schedule every season. We’d get more teams in that way the way the playoff committee is running things
