But in general the Chinese products are shite for quality.
The automobile is a pretty complex system and is an amalgamation of various sub-suppliers. Poor quality sub-suppliers, poor quality automobile.
Honda has been a victim of some of this in the USA. Poor quality sub-components failing way too early.

Give me a chance to buy a cheap Chinese car and I am there. American cars have increased In Price 30% or more in just the last three years.
