Because she won’t get the jab. What’s the logic on this one, Fauci bro’s?

Duke University Hospital is now denying a life-saving kidney transplant operation to a dying teenager for refusing the experimental Covid-19 vaccine.

Yulia Hicks, 14, was adopted by North Carolina Army Veterans Chrissy and Lee Hicks in 2021 after being brought from Ukraine to the United States in December 2018.

Chrissy and Lee knew they were adopting a child with a genetic kidney condition that would eventually require surgery when they decided to bring Yulia home in January 2021.

“She fit in right away with Lee and Chrissy’s 10 other children, 2 of which are also adopted,” according to a fundraising campaign created by Emily Grace. “14-year-old Yulia is outgoing and always positive despite the hardships in her life, to include the last 15 months of DAILY dialysis.”

Sad that parents would let their child die because they’re anti-vaxxers

If I were this girl’s father, I would find out the exact person(s) who made this decision and they would be dealt with.

That is a givesendgo link. They are trying to raise $500k for associated transplant expense. Hopefully she lives long enough to get a kidney.

Should be the opposite.
No point wasting kidneys on mindless sheep that are just going to die of mrna clots shortly.

Why is it an issue though? Why does the hospital care so much that they'll let a 14 year-old girl die?

I'd bet they'd respect her body if she wanted her boobs cut off. But heaven forbid she reject a vaccine against a disease she has virtually no chance of dying from...

Criminal that medical professionals would let someone die by denying service to push their agenda.

If this were my family member and she died I would find out who made the decision and make a decision for them

Do you ignorantly believe CNN would cover such a thing?

It’s sad but it makes sense. She’d be incredibly high risk if she caught Covid after the transplant. How would you feel if a kidney that would have gone to you instead went to an anti vaxxer who died shortly after surgery because she caught Covid with a suppressed immune system?

I'm confused. They won't do the surgery because she refuses the shot which is still 2 stage, I presume and wouldn't even be considered vaccinated for a couple of months?

She would probably choose the shot instead of dying but seems her parents want to make a martyr of her. Sad really

I opened the story expecting to find a catch.
There is no catch.
It's just horrible.

I hope they get their butts sued in a way that makes the university forget Duke Lacrosse was ever a thing. Disgusting!

Rejecting your own gender and associated body parts to create an abomination? Fine.

Rejecting coercion from the government and their healthcare provider minions (Twitter anyone?) to force an experimental drug upon conscious objectors? :how dare you:

It used to be ironic. Now it just pisses me off.
