Dude still touting msm narratives.
Fauci is trustworthy regarding science? Anyone who has actually listened to him instead of relying on the msm to tell them what he said...would know that fauci has been wrong about almost everything.
I'm not asking a doctor to be right 100% of the time. That would be impossible. I'm just asking the doctor to not get everything wrong when you need an expert's opinion the most, in the middle of a pandemic.
Fauci gets everything wrong and still believes that he should have the high ground to preach from. Granted, people like you would kiss his arse no matter what.. you'd even use insignificant polls to show that there are a lot of people like you out there, who blindly follow msm narratives.

Did he say why? Right now if you fall over with a heart attack in the front lawn while trimming the hedges, and you test positive for the virus, you officially die from Covid 19.
How in the hell is he saying death from the virus is under reported??

Because mortality generally is up considerably in places with extensive outbreaks. We've got about 26,000 more deaths a week than normal for this time of year. Those won't all be COVID, of course. Some people are neglecting other health care out of fear of COVID risk in hospitals.

the medicine he's hocking must not be ready yet. Gotta have enough time to make sure its announced and available for a windfall.

Really? You mean the death toll that has been skewed to COD being Covid-19 if you tested positive for it regardless of anything else...
The more he speaks the more he loses credibility.

If all that we want is for some one to constantly give the extreme solution of just shutting everything down and isolating everyone then they can do that with someone off the street. His advice at least in Public has been absolutely pointless and wouldn’t require even a doctor to give it.
Rand pushes him on a real decision making and making hard calls and he responded with needing months to years of research to deliver a solution. At this point he should be dismissed as a public figure and he can be the geek that sits in the back of the conference room that is barely called on because everyone already knows what he may have to add anyways.

re-opening could lead to “needless suffering and death”
Regarding death, data and fact do not back his assertion as long as rate of hospitalization does not exceed health system capacity. Outside of NYC, we've not come close to that marker.
Regarding suffering, the economic devastation secondary to shutdown is leagues worse than sublethal CV19 infections.

Yeah.
That's how to describe the fact that your pants are around your ankles and you lack any human decency or character to address your failure.

No thoughts on the latest developments re: Gen. Flynn? You sure did have some thought back when you were under the distinct impression that you had OMB.

Daycare through college should have never shut down at all for this mess.
Our focus should have been nursing homes.
Total policy failure.

You've got it, while many on this board are over-thinking this. If you're a hammer, everything looks like a nail. Fauci is focused on public health, which is great, but he should not be making public policy decisions, especially when trade-offs between safety and economic/liberty concerns must be made.

What's funny is the deaths resulting from neglecting healthcare will be attributed to COVID in the end.
Go without a cancer screen for 3 months because your Doctor was locked down due to COVID and end up dying from something treatable 3 months ago? That's a COVID death as per CDC.
