What percentage of your posts on PT are about covid? 90%? Higher?

I decided to get the vaccine. I really don't care if other people get it, that's their personal decision.

I know people too. That’s not the same thing son.
Your friend is a retard to believe it’s a hoax. I am talking about the freedom to choose. They died exercising their freedom. I don’t need you or any agency telling me I have to take it.
Also, this is fighting to save all freedom of choice. You are short sided if you can’t see it.

Personally, I’m tired of big government telling me where I have to drive slowly or making me stop at intersections. It’s bs. This is America!

What an absolutely fricking stupid analogy. You should be embarrassed. That you are probably not, says much about your intelligence.

I thought you were at least intelligent. That’s just a bad effort all the way around.

They do not realize that at all.
They are all caught up in being right and going along with the crowd.
They are only looking at what is right in front of them, and not the long term ramifications of what they are panicked about today.
BTW - The virus numbers are insane because of the southern border, and the vaxx does not work. If it did, we wouldn't need boosters and masks and mandates anymore. Its a money grab. Follow the money.

Cool.

As in they support the restrictions, because it gives them power over the people opposed to mandatory vaccines?
If so, yes, I agree that's part of it
Correct. These are people who can't control themselves with constant coherent thought or emotion. They need a structure system to govern them but also a belief they are apart of the power structure itself which obviously they aren't.

This isn’t a new development. Plenty of parents who get labeled “anti-vax [insert derogatory term of choice]” are years ahead of you in this battle, even though their actual beliefs and choice may differ more from each other’s than they do from yours. Yeah, some people don’t vax at all, but there are a whole lot more who just want a little leeway to space them out slightly, or consider the risk/benefits of each situation individually.
For instance, when my kids were born it was not an uncommon thing to forego the birth dose of the Hep B vaccine. When you consider that most humans who are Hep B+ acquire it through unprotected sex or sharing needles, while the primary risk to babies is vertical transmission from an infected mother (with contaminated blood transfusions a distant second), it really isn’t some insane leap for a mother with known negative status and zero household risk factors to conclude that the essentially negligible risk of a healthy, term infant a) needing a transfusion, and b) actually receiving contaminated blood doesn’t outweigh the risk of triggering a serious adverse by vaccinating a baby literally minutes after birth — no matter how statistically unlikely that outcome might also be.
This is a choice parents can make in Louisiana, although if your child starts school with even one dose of one vaccine outstanding, you’ll almost certainly have to file an exemption until you’re ready to get your kid “caught up” in the eyes of the state.
In other states, it’s not even up for discussion. You do exactly what they say, when they say it. And I guarantee you that the the negative messaging, the social engineering, and the overarching focus on achieving compliance, rather than evaluating individual outcomes or protecting public health in any meaningful way, are fundamentally identical and have been for at least the last 10-12 years.
I mean truly, do any of you believe the CDC was fine and dandy until COVID came along, and then just all of a sudden degenerated into a special interest group driven by self-promotion, corporate influence, or political agendas? It doesn’t work that way. This is the product of years of slow infiltration, and they’ve been carefully honing their craft the whole time. Every technique you see them employ today — public shaming, threats, narrative building, silencing, suppression, ostracizing/division, using paid influencers, coercion — is one that every parent who’s ever dared to deviate even slightly from the regular childhood vaccine schedule has seen dozens of times over. I think they’ve just been hoping other people would start to catch on before the increasingly hateful rhetoric really began coalescing into punitive or extremist measures.
COVID was the great equalizer no one saw coming. Now you don’t have to be a mom or dad who’s just scrounging for a crumb of parental authority to get a good, long look behind the curtain. These days, all of us worker bees who want in can get free tickets to the puppet show.

everyone would love to ignore it, but it’s quite literally being forced upon the majority of the populace. it’s on the verge of being required to travel.
are you simple?

Many of the people here who are now anti vax used to claim it was a hoax. The hoax crowd has disappeared for the most part but some are still around. They just don't advertise it as clearly.
