To make it less anecdotal, I just repeated this experiment in Oklahoma to establish a baseline. The result was the same, except my neighbor heard me and said "yes".

Yes, my friends in the construction industry around here constantly bitch about the untrained low quality work done by the illegals. I had my house built in 2019 and I swear every year since, things keep falling apart due to poor crfaftsmanship

I pointed out on here before that just because these immigrants are ‘working hard’ it doesn’t mean they are doing good work (and much of the time they aren’t). I received a bevy of downvotes

The roofing company crew that replaced my mother in law’s roof in November was all white. That company runs 4 crews and most are white with a few blacks.

Good friend of mine is a decent sized roofing contractor in the Phoenix-area. Thirty years ago when he started his business, he employed illegals exclusively - paid under the table and not a going rate. Went from just starting out to being wealthy in about 20 years time, and then replaced all the illegals with American workers (white, black and hispanic). He doesn't make as much as before but he's already "made it" and now he doesn't have to feel guilty about cheating the system.

Exactly this. I had a flooring business where I had several legal American employees with families that worked for me. The post Katrina go zone money had everyone booming then that dried up and the illegals that had been working on the coast began to move north and there was no way to compete with their prices. Couple that with real estate market crash in 2008 I finally had enough and sold out and changed careers. So yeah send them back.

Yes. Shut all of the construction down in my area. Housing developments have been popping up quicker than ant beds around here. The area is growing too fast. I’d like nothing more than ICE putting a stop to it. They have shown up in several locations around here, but it’s not slowing down enough. Strangely enough, nobody’s protesting and getting shot either

Probably not a popular opinion around here, but you’re absolutely spot on. Heavily fine these businesses or arrest the employers, and the Mexican workers are gone faster than Speedy Gonzalez

In 2023, Tenn. had approximately nearly 3,600 Fentanyl deaths by overdose, 1,300 traffic fatalities, 1,400 COVID 19 deaths, and nearly 1,600 firearm deaths. And you are focused on 41 homicides by illegals? Think your state have larger problems.

Red Ststes are allowing ICE to remove criminals as they are arrested or adjudicated straight from the jail protecting Americans.
