Diversity does not always mean immigrants but I guess you cant parse the differences in the question.
But to répond to you directly more crime is committed by Americans then immigrants also they pay far more in taxes then they receive. But hey dont let the truth disrupt your thinking.

Measured, qualified diversity with individuals with similar value systems (work ethic, intelligence, honesty, and morals) is absolutely a good thing.
Where it deviates is when you start inviting diversity for the sake of diversity with people who don't fit. Totally reckless and almost always fails.

Since a lot of this discussion is targeted at Latinos, who are of Western culture (and also predominantly of Western-European genetics), what's the new demarcation?
It used to be "we want to promote Western culture" but that seems to be out the window at this point.
Before the early 1900s it was easier to just cite WASPS, but with all the central and Mediterranean Europeans (often who were Catholic) who came over, that's gone (although they were also criticized in similar ways).

Some have. But it's undeniable that the net effect has been a negative, and by a wide margin. For every accomplishment, how many crimes are committed or how many hands are held out for welfare?
The biggest loss to our society would be entertainment. But even that wouldn't be a huge net loss. I'd gladly trade no more rap for slightly slower athletes.

List the plusses and minuses of the contributions of all members of the Congressional Black Caucus.
