There will be a ton of lash out and anger on here when the results aren’t what the board has been believing would happen. That’s the issue with echo chambers. Drown out all the stuff you don’t like and then melt when your world view that was cultivated in echo chambers gets shattered.
In Florida the republican party rolled out a carpetbagging, new york felon and literal convicted conman token black conservative that nobody likes. That idiot had the nerve to chastise young men -his base- for their work ethic, while the only work he's done with his hands is bag up drugs and sell them before he was arrested. This board thinks he's profoundly popular because he's "TrUmP EnDOrSEd" (the only thing he runs on and makes sure to remind everyone of it), and can't figure out why the alternative, actual conservative won all of the college precincts in the primary with literally zero backing from the party and big money.

In Ohio they strongarmed the people into voting for a scamming jeet that should be in prison and who said Americans are lazy, and he's going to likely lose the election (and definitely lose his izzat). This board can't believe the anchor baby isn't running away with it. Texas has to choose an unlikeable scumbag over a self-hating, lunatic homosexual with a fetish for filling hazmat containers with kiddy genitals, and the chuds on this echo chamber are doing the "everything is fine" house fire meme. With the dogshit, lunatic candidates the democrat party is rolling out, it shouldn't (and wouldn't) even be close if they were running actual restorationists instead of token minorities and 2nd rate scumbags.

Regardless of the outcome, this board will collectively keep their head in the sand and pretend that republican candidates aren't increasingly losing by thin margins in places they would be dominating if the party would shed its Bush/Rove strategy and actually sack up and become a party of principles. To quote Robert Frost, "The middle of the road is where the white line is—and that's the worst place to drive.”

The party is profoundly out of touch with the new right and what they want, and what we will not stand for. If you can't figure out why they would sit aside and watch communists gain power, understand this: when you have nothing to lose and everything to gain then you'll do what it takes. Young men, especially White men, are hopless and living in a dystopian hellscape. They'll gladly watch it burn so they can rebuild it. The sooner the geriatrics and Mitt Romneys die off, the sooner we can enact sweeping, decisive policy to crush the communist (the democrat party) agenda. Hopefully it won't be too late. It's a whole wide world out there and the old guard ain't gonna cut it, especially for young men.

Ron couldn’t even get 5% in his own state and we have people saying Trump isn’t popular or a NY con man

I support conservatives. MAGA is not conservative. It's a populist cult with leaders who parrot socialist nonsense. Quite often they're closer to Bernie bros than conservatives. These are the same people who love Vivek and Kari Lake-Abrams and hate fire-breathing conservatives like DeSantis.

You’re a moron. DeSantis ran the same platform Trump did and he’s more pro Israel than Trump. You are proving the outrage is all fake and directed at Trump though. Good job.

Total straw man. There are so many platforms that really are true echo chambers. Sites where you wouldn't have the opportunity to contribute your trolling. Sites that cancel the right, just as there are sites that cancel the left.
Be thankful that Chicken and his staff allow us the 1a freedom that they do, and stop calling their site something that it isn't.

well said, just the fact this poster can make this tired point is indicative that this is NOT an echo chamber

there are a few prominent lefty edge lords like Beefense that love to act like they are above this site and the deep south right wing yokels that they have total contempt for

yet they are here day after day with post after post just like the rest of us knee deep in the muck

Its like they want the democrat to win. Has DeSantis promoted Donalds? Donalds praised him during the hurricane.

Its very hard for most of us to accept the fact that our own citizens will vote themselves into what history tells us will become a very uncomfortable place to live going forward. History typically repeats itself, but we are full of idiots who believe THIS time things will turn out differently.

Any and all polls I have seen in the last six months. Find me one where Trump is above 60% in Florida.

What would be your definition of "very popular" in Florida?

Why should he? Donalds wasn't exactly RD's friend in the 2024 primary, and he is a weak AF candidate.

As a resident, I can only hope this is the political version of Les Miles taking over from Saban, and the infrastructure of the state is on autopilot.

Edit...Just learned he finally endorse Donalds in September

Yeah hoping Donalds can grow into being a great Gov like Ron did and become his own guy. Donalds seems more Tallahassee than Florida to me.

The state has a very strong red legislature that will keep the state going for awhile. Byron needs to focus on residents like Ron did and fix the insurance issues the state has.
