Here’s a thought.
The French government has changed since then. The US government has changed since then. The British government has changed since then.
While individual politicians may have been bribed there, the ones in power now weren’t getting money.
Germany though? Merkel’s already in trouble over immigration stuff. Getting caught up in an Iranian bribe scandal may finish her off.

That would make sense.
Another thought, Iran has nothing to lose.
If they are a true renegade state and bad guy they know the deal is over and will burn the house down.
Or perhaps there is a faction in the Iranian government that wants a clean start, like NoKo, and has already made a deal with Israel, Saudi Arabia, and Trump. What we are seeing now is just the show put on to expose the bad actors of the world.
We truly could be on the verge of world peace.
Based on the lack of retaliation, other than a few token missiles that hit nothing, we have seen zero response from Russia, Syria, Iran, ISIS, or NoKo over the last year while Trump has been dragging his balls all over the planet, cleaning up the messes that the swamp has created over the last 3 decades.

I disagree. I believe they are very vulnerable to the "you don't have the balls to do it", "you're lying" or "you're just cowards, otherwise you wouldn't threaten it" lines of rhetoric. Maybe even toss in a "Bibi had proof and he was man enough to show it so what does that say about you" ;)
