This is what testing looks like comparatively.

99% certain these states are running out of people to test, thus the testing drop. We know for a fact there's plenty of testing capacity.

Article on AJC last night about how the surge testing site at Hartsfield has been utilized to the tune of about 20% of capacity since it opened last week. One of the doomsayers from Emory was lamenting that nobody was showing up. Pretty sure he's firmly in the camp of "we need to test everyone," which is silly.

Yep. Mayor of Houston is actively begging people to show up to the testing site at NRG and get tested for free. He wants everyone to be tested everyday like those athletes living in the bubble.

People aren’t going to keep testing. They’re only going to when they’re required to or when they’re symptomatic.

I watched a co-worker get tested at work...voluntarily. His eyes were still watering 15 minutes later. They asked me if I wanted to be tested...Ummmm....no thanks.

How anyone does that multiple times, by choice, is beyond me.

Is there a map breakdown of cases and deaths for counties within states?

In particular Texas, Florida and California.

All fair points.

I would assume the rates of obesity are higher in Louisiana.

The Italians are swarthy, but still much lighter skinned than the Black community, and they probably spend more time outside than we do.

Louisiana is 1160, not 1204.

But it was 1204 yesterday, so I imagine that data is just a day old. No huge difference, just pointing it out.
