Hell, I couldn't understand a word of it. I'm kind of happy about that, too.
Roadgator isn't a Trump supporter, but he is a conservative. And also, if you think there's 100 million like you in the U.S you've lost your GD mind.
Coming soon. I never cared much for this, just post it. It won't really be surprising, actually kind of expected.
It's 3.19 here, has been for the last week.

86 is to get rid of

86 was used to mean "we're out of" in the early 30's in soda bars. The etymology changed by the 50's to mean "to cancel, or eliminate", the original meaning was all but forgotten and replaced. To this day "to 86" means to "get rid of, eliminate, or cancel".

Most people know what in means in today's usage, they just play stupid.

That's a whole lot of crazy.

I would expect laser interceptors sooner or later. Israel already has a few

The US military has 15-20 of different power levels that are either combat fielded or operational prototype. The Navy has the Helios (60kw) , but I don't think they have but a couple. The Army has a few on Strykers (50kw De M-Shorad), and the Air Force and Army have a 10kw version, I think 4, called HELWS.

So we have them, just not nearly enough.
If Iranian troops are concentrating near the Iraq border, then you know what/where to target.

Thanks for keeping this thread updated.

I come to this thread 2-3 a day just to get his updates.

I don't use any social media (not counting this board), and I don't pay attention to MSM, so this is the best place for me to get info. It's much appreciated.

Do y’all have to prove y’all aren’t drinking and that type of stuff to receive the payments?

Many people with mental illnesses drink, it's usually the reason they do drink.

But no, you don't have to prove you don't drink because that's impossible to do. Illegal drugs is different, but only if you get arrested and the sentence is 30+ days. Same applies to a DUI that gets you 30+ days. I don't know if they take the benefits away, but they do suspend them.

It has been pointed out that only 40% of vets draw monthly cash payments for the rest of their lives along with other perks.

Even if 40% of vets drew compensation, it isn't always a lifetime benefit. And it's most certainly not 100% disability rate.

And what all does that cover? As in branches and that stuff.

Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, and Reserve and National Guard.

Not uncommon for veterans of that age.

No, if you combine the hearing loss from deployment or your MOS, or both, with age then you can get 100% P&T for it. I've seen it a few times and the ones I've seen are legit deaf.

We have completely miscalculated the support we thought we had from the American right and will adjust accordingly.

Don't base anything on this board. You should know there's a lot of shite talking coming from some people that don't believe what they're posting.

ALL veterans should get their benefits to at least 50 percent? and we're supposed to believe that this is a completely valid process with only a negligible amount of scamming?

I think that guy is an alter that does nothing but try to anger people, though. No one with any intelligence would come on here and admit to being part of the fraud.
quote:

actually hardly anyone said that. there were one or two guys who might have said something about disability should be combat related, but most of us who take issue with the system arent talking about legit injuries, be they combat or garrison related. a guy who spends years jumping out of planes is going to have issues that he should be compensated for whether he ever saw combat or not. most of us get that.

100%

The beef is with the scam. Not the truly injured or ill.
I'm ex-military and I complain about it. I'm 100% P&T. I did 2 combat tours and I paid a heavy price. I know there's fraud going on, I've seen it. Anything even a little suspicious should trigger an audit, and sometimes it does, but too often it doesn't. As I mentioned in a prior post, most of what I've seen are vets that served 4 or less years, and after the Gulf War (including post 911). So roughly 2009-2010.

Even though this may be true, it doesn't mean that there's not people scamming, there certainly are. I think most of it is the younger/newer enlistees racking their medical profile. Your Gulf War and Vietnam guys don't/didn't even know that Veterans had potential benefits available after service due to injury or mental illness. That had a lot to do with the way the VA determined eligibility before, say, 2018. I think that's when the PACT Act was passed...?
When I got out I went with a guy a served with to see a VA rep (I got out JAN 2015). He had a jacked up soldier due to an IED that flipped his vehicle on its side. The VA rep basically told him he didn't have a case. He eventually tried again in 2017 and ended up with 40% disability rating. It was harder then that it is now.
Now they have specialist that know how to work the system, find one and you'll get a rating much higher than the typical 10% for tinnutis. I don't know how they do it, but I know a guy that served in the Navy for 4 years and didn't serve in a combat role, also didn't get injured during a training exercise. He hired a guy last year (one of these "specialists"), and 4 months later had an 80% rating. I have no idea how they pulled that off because he didn't have anything in his military jacket that would back up any claim that he made, which is a requirement.
