Honestly, Brown pisses me off.
But the one consistent thread for the past several years and coaches, and a big reason why Nix left, is because we have had total disaster Olines for a decade+ at this point.
Fix the trenches, fix the game. It's really that simple.

Honestly I'm beyond this point already. fricking shut down the football program for a few years, fire the AD, come back in a few and try again. Like Jesus Christ it is not this difficult to just look sort of MEDIOCRE on offense, which has been an unreachable bar now for half a decade plus.

Bought a Toyota hybrid recently and it's amazing. Great gas mileage for day to day in city driving, still has 400+ mile range for longer trips on a single tank, no need to charge anything.

Personally I think there was some belief for Brown and the offensive staff that he could have a Heisman campaign or significantly elevate his stock for the NFL. Hence the heavy reliance on the pass, and Brown never keeping the ball on obvious read option plays.
I am HOPING that the start of the season will lead to some disillusionment and Brown and Co have woken up to the reality that we need to be doing what works, because trying to showcase his pocket passing ability isn't helping anyone out right now.
All that to say, run da damn bawl. Set up the pass with the run.

Where is the read option? I don't think I've seen Brown keep the ball on a read yet, just designed run plays for him.
Defense looks much better so far today. Which is good, we're gonna need it to maybe squeak out 3 more wins this season.
I don't know wtf is wrong with Brown, but the way he plays I don't see how he could put up 10k yards vs the air.
