I'd be a hell of a lot happier with Durkin over a Jimbo, or some of the other older retreads that have been floated around out there. No real opinion on Key or Brohm or whoever else which is fine because ultimately I'm just along for the ride with the PTBs calling all the shots.

I despised the Freeze choice back in the day as soon as he was on the list. I would have liked to have seen him redeem himself once we were stuck with him, but good riddance.
Thorne would've taken us bowling with this team.

It's now legal for SMU to do most of what the did in the 70s and 80s so yeah they are capable.

Weird to add to this but have we even attempted a jet sweep this game? It feels like we run 2 to 4 of those a game and I don't recall seeing one tonight.

Maybe this nightmare will finally be over.

I don't really know but God I'm sick of it. Would love to see Auburn score more than 30 consistently but right now I'm just going for 1 offensive TD.

No, mad that Freeze is wasting a playoff caliber D and praying that we get a pick 6 because that would seal the deal in this cripple fight.

Singleton could be playing for undefeated GT right now with Haynes King man moding every game. Instead he's got Arnold and Daniels

The last time I went to a game Jeremy Johnson was looking like a future Heisman candidate against Arky

Life comes at you fast God damn that was over a decade ago.

Nah, they'd just run up big deficits and then cry to the Feds for a bailout. It'd be the same system with more steps, let's not pretend like the people working in state govs are any different than FedGov workers...
You think third world countries are comparable to the US because living in the US set you so far ahead of the rest of the world that when you walk off a plane into a 2nd or 3rd world country you immediately enter into the top 10, 5, or 1% of people living in that country.

You would not have this opinion living in a third world country in the bottom 20 or 50%.

No I'm actually pretty sure that you've been so well off you're out of touch to what can or can't be given up to afford a home. My wife and I got married, and had enough for a down payment, plus have savings left over for eventual repairs and needed improvements within 3 years. And no, we didn't buy at a time when rates were 3% either.

My personal theory is that the delay to get married by millennials (my gen), Gen z, and soon gen alpha is negatively affecting those generations finances. Being married (especially in a DINK situation early on) shares expenses, shares time consuming tasks, provides you with someone you share goals with and thus shared accountability etc. It's much easier to cook for 2 than it is for 1 and there's accountability to take leftovers for lunch as one example.
Most of those numbers aren't surprising really except NY State having more participants then FL and TX combined which is :scared:

Woke up to a rocket this morning, any news I missed?
Given the insane property/housing prices and crisis in Canada, 800 acres near Vancouver is a shite ton of private money at stake.

re: Anyone else hope we lose today?

I never want us to lose and always want us to win.

What I want or hope for is pretty irrelevant though, this team is what it is and what it will be, which is very bad.
Because they're terrorists, duh.
I'm not sure why you need someone to tell you this is their job. That's the job of every single person on tv, radio, social media etc.
