Mostly the internets fault, both in terms of attention span destruction and also ease of comparison.

Everyone looking for the get rich quick scheme and comparing themselves to the top 0.1% which can be very defeating.

My BiL's mom passed the day before Mother's Day, and had a coworker whose father died in the car on the way home from their Father's day lunch a couple years ago. Treasure your parents because you just never know.
The ride in the new Bronco is horrid if it's going to be a daily driver.
fricking hell I'm so sick of MFA, install our app, and a fricking account for every damn little thing.
Europe can't even field their own military, why would Israel look to them?

Europe also was pretty complicit in that whole extermination attempt, with the biggest economy in Europe still being Germany. So yeah the Jews aren't going there hat in hand.
There's so much construction constantly happening in Madison it's insane.

Coming from a DSLR I thought I would hate the EVF but the "real" feedback of seeing exactly what the sensor sees is pretty damn nice, especially with improvements in the quality of EVFs in the past few years.

That's taken with a Nikon D60 DSLR and the 18-55 kit lens. Cost about $500ish back in 2009 iirc.

That's taken with a Nikon Z6iii and 24-70 f4 S lens. Cost me around $3k total for the gear.

Mostly just posting these because you can take good landscapes with most anything. At your budget new you should be able to afford a Nikon Z50ii with the 16-50 kit lens which is a pretty great place to start out. If you're willing to shop used (from a reputable used store like KEH, MPB, Adorama, or B&H used) you can get more camera for your budget but that's up to your comfort and research level.

Like someone else posted, I would definitely find a way to handle the major camera brands (Nikon, Canon, Sony) in person. Ergonomics is a huge part of how much you're going to enjoy and use the camera, from how much it weighs, feel in the hand, button placement etc. Go to Best Buy and ask the employee to detach the camera from the anti theft rig so you can hold it and get a feel for it. Or if you're lucky enough to have a local camera store, go there. Or find a friend who shoots. Or find a local camera club where people will let you hold their gear. You can learn everything about the different specs and price points for every major camera on YouTube, but none of those videos can tell you how the camera is gonna feel to you in your hand.

Also don't get too caught up on the different brands. $1k on any of the major camera brands is gonna buy you essentially the same level of tech and capability from all 3. Everyone is a fan of their brand, but unless you have a super specific must have feature that only one brand offers (and just starting out you don't lol) you'll be fine with any of the big three in terms of capability.
My wife and I build a blanket fort in the living room once or twice a year, nice to watch movies in though as we're getting older it's getting harder to do things on the floor so gotta figure out some more padding
The Falklands task force involved more Royal Navy ships than the current Royal Navy can deploy in its entirety.
Can also happen if the kerosene is cross contaminated with gasoline, such as by a fuel hauler unloading gas into the kerosene tank at a station or loading kerosene into a tanker compartment that still has some gas in it. It takes very very little gasoline contamination to make kerosene dangerous like this.
They've had near misses with this in the past at La Guardia, I was on a flight in 2021 that had to do a go around because of a vehicle on the runway. Was some maximum pucker factor when we're just about to touch down and the engines rev all the way up and the nose of the plane suddenly tilts way way up.
Europe has to do this, it's the only way the state ran healthcare has a chance at being sustainable long term. Same reason Canada's solution to almost every problem is MAID. Small %s of the population demanding high levels of care break state run systems.

I've known several people with downs and murdering them in the womb is both evil and criminal, yet here we are.
Our house has a his and hers set of sinks. Her sink has about 4x the available counter space and cabinet as mine and yet my sink has 10x the actual clear usable space because she leaves every skin care, makeup, pill bottle and Lord knows what else out on the counter.
Because regulation has so strangled refinery construction and upgrades that the last major refinery built in the US was 50 years ago.
Gotta remember, the people who write these rules (similar to a bank saying you can afford $X amount of house) are working for entities that have a set % of write offs baked into their calculation. They anticipate some % of these loans to fail. Just because the other % doesn't fail doesn't mean they're not 1 struggling or 2 going to fail the next year or the one after etc.

For you as an individual, you should not be anywhere near the mortgage lenders max estimate, as that puts you right up near the edge of failure where if anything goes wrong you could be set back significantly, and even if nothing goes wrong your only investment ends up being your house.

My wife and I are paying just under 20% of our gross into a mortgage, and I'm not super thrilled with that as is. Every 1% less from that 30 or 20 or whatever "magical" % is another % you could be saving or investing into something else.

I would not cry if this became a $30 buyout. Would give me some money to put into my general funds along with a nice chunk to sit on for a good investment opportunity down the line.

Would obviously prefer this to be at 100 in 2027 and 1000 in 2029 though

I wish I had bought more at the start, my initial purchase of 500 shares was at like 41c or something silly. Would've loved to have 5k of this at that cost
