Trump won because the lawfare, attempted assasinations, historic inflation and the worst candidates in history in a dementia riden Biden and Braindead drunk in Harris. Any “moderate” dem governor like Shapiro or Bashear would have beaten Trump.
With that said Trump had huge momentum early but his tariffs that he implemented knowing they would get revered so the cost was born by the tax payer and refund given to the huge corporations, along with the Iran war basically ended his presidency.

Democrats have been slowly chipping away at Texas for the last 3 cycles and Republicans made excuse after excuse as to why the races were getting close. Republicans just got too comfortable and lazy at campaigning and messaging. This cycle was the worst campaigning I have ever seen by Republicans.
Oh well, it's been awhile since they have bitched about Democrats in Texas, now they get to how good they had it with Republicans in power. Glad I have my retirement set already so I can ride it out until the jobs go away.

I’m calling it rigged. There is no way democrats won that big in Texas without help. It’s got to be mathematically impossible or improbable. It makes no sense. Democrats playing the long game and republicans are retarded.
