Let me ask you this, op. If someone from out of town comes to your neighborhood and breaches the fence in your back yard to smuggle illegal weapons and narcotics to other places in your neighborhood and other neighboring communities, all the while they also are pushing those narcotics onto your children... that's ok? Answer the question, if you dare. Is your property border to keep your family within the confines of your land, or to show trespassers where their red line is?
That's the flawed logic in your comparison. I'm not even sure why I'm responding to such an ignorant and uninformed post. Why don't you look to our Northern border? You know, the Canadian government that all the socialist libs love so much? Try entering their country as a felon. Now look to our southern border. The Mexico government defends their southern border by shooting illegal entrants from countries like Guatemala in particular. Yes, shooting them dead, on sight, if they obtain unauthorized entry. And yet you criticize us for merely wanting stricter border enforcement which would only get us a couple steps closer to where our Canadian friends stand on border security?

A wall intended to keep people out can just as easily be used to keep people in. I'm not sure why our "small gov't" Republicans are so anxious to increase the size of gov't and potentially decrease freedoms.
